We used to love HIE/ Holiday Inn Express we normally stay there or at Spring Hill suites always. This one however was not up to par. We arrived on Thursday and I called down and said the TV had no signal, the error message on the TV said call front desk for reset. I did the same on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say it never worked. Although we asked three times for our room to be cleaned it never happened. They did try to clean the room on Sunday but at that point we didn’t care. I filed a claim with my credit card company for a refund. I’ve never done that for a hotel stay. But this was beyond unsatisfactory. I cleaned the filters in the PTAC or AC unit myself they were so clogged it was hardly cooling. If there was a plus it was the lady working 3-11 on Saturday of our stay she did her best to help us and everyone else said they were but nothing was ever done about the cleaning or the TV. On Sunday they offered to move us but we were leaving at 5:00am on Monday so what was the point by that time. Had I not been already booked at a HEI tonight I probably would have changed to another hotel. I will no longer be staying at any Holiday Inn hotels. This whole stay was ludicrous and unacceptable.

We are working hard to improve our provided services and hope you will return to experience them with a future stay.

The room was dated & in bad shape. Then the smoke detector started going off about 11:30. The manager was rude when I called the front desk and said she didn’t know what to do about it. She finally sent someone down and he didn’t know which sensor was the smoke detector. It was a very unpleasant experience.

My mom's door would not lock and they mentioned it both days but it was never fixed. They did take some money off of the room, however, the room should've been free considering that it was unsafe to be in a room that didn't lock or to leave their stuff in the room.
