The hotel itself was very nice, beach front rooms are lovely. The adjoining Mahi restaurant was extremely overpriced, example one piece of toast $4.00? Also the server brought our coffee with a giant hair on top of the cup. She quickly removed it and gave it to us anyway.

When I arrived for check-in, a lady at the Front desk seemed agitated. I overlooked her body language and stood in line. She said, "How can i help you?" with an attitude, as she stared at the floor. I replied, "No, thank you. I'll wait for the next available clerk." I guess that agitated her more, but as a customer, I have a right to decline unsatisfactory service. The 2nd event: we asked a male employee if we could have another cookie, or if they could be purchased. The lady from earlier was assisting another customer, but overheard us, and she screamed, "No". This trip was supposed to relieve some grief I was experiencing from losing a sibling. However, her attitude made me flustered and i barely wanted to visit the lobby, if she was present.

The barn door to the restroom was off the hinge and fell when trying to shut so we couldn’t shut it and the first night after dinner we purchased water and the lady at the desk didn’t look at us said what do you need I replied would like to purchase this water and she said room number rolled her eyes and then replied $8.00 that’s it! So Freaking Rude horrible customer service especially after spending the money to stay at your facility not leaving and spending an additional 150.00 for dinner and then when checking out and wanting our car from valet we were told there was no valet on duty and we had to go get our own car after being charged $50.00 for Valet not pleasant at all!

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the balcony overlooking the promenade and beach. Room setup was awkward with the refrigerator located in a cabinet. There was no room service to replace towels or coffee items or collect trash due to Covid concerns. Signs in the room advised to call for any items needed. When we called, we were advised to come to front desk for items needed. I asked what to do about dirty towels and was advised to leave in hall and they are collected every half hour. They sat there overnite. Trash in room was not collected and also no separation for recyclables (which we did on our own). Overall the hotel is very nice. Parking attendants were very helpful....Hotel Staff is nice and helpful as well! Hotel restaurant was very good - we had dinner there 1 nite. So there are some concessions to be made in regard to Covid changes when it comes to housekeeping. We understand restrictions..however we were there for 4 nites and feel there should have been a drop location set up on each floor for used towels and for trash. We did see housekeeping but think it was only for when guests had checked out. For noise...the hotel was quiet ....there was a band playing at grandstand area on promenade, but they were done at 10:30 so no issue..and it was end of summer so not likely to be a regular thing
