We enjoyed every bit of our stay!!
This is not our first time of staying at Duschel Apartments. The standard is ALWAYS high; the location and amenities are great. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, although the internet wasn't so great. The management needs to work on this. Equally, side / lamp tables near the bed wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, there is hardly anything else to complain about. Regardless, the accommodation is SUPERB!! Score: 90%

I would have recomennded this place up until I found out someone stole money out of our suitcases. There is no check in desk and the only way to communicate with them was thru whatsapp. LOCK UP YOUR VALUABLES if you stay here.

The apartment itself was great, very spacious with very comfortable beds. Location was great and quiet and there is access to supermarket, restaurant and trams nearby. We had some issues at check-in due to the previous person not leaving the keys in the right place, therefore the cleaners hadn't been able to come in to clean. We were there for a business trip so paying the local tax at the office was quite hard due to their opening hours (9:30 to 15:00). Finally on our last day, the water was cut in the building due to some leaks, the agent did not warn us that they would cut the water and therefore no shower before a very long flight was not great.

The apartment was located up a quiet street close to the centre of Vienna with plenty of restaurants around. A supermarket was a short walk away. The apartment was clean and modern but for us the accommodation layout was not ideal. The '2' bathrooms consisted of a separate toilet and a bathroom with bath shower and wash basin (no toilet) accessed through one of the bedrooms. For 4 people this caused a lot of inconvenience. The apartment was light and airy and with air-conditioning. The small terrace was a bonus. It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to operate the blinds. Whilst parking is available in an underground garage, it is an expensive additional cost. It was easy to contact the host and they were very helpful, responding promptly to any queries.

I highly recommend these apartments as I enjoyed my stay there. Pros: 1- Excellent communication from the manager through WhatsApp and email. 2- Good location on a closed ended road which is generally quiet. 3- Good amenities (washing machine, kitchen facilities, etc). Cons: 1- no air conditioning in the apartment we rented but the manager provided us with electric fans which helped a lot. 2- Slightly more expensive than other apartments in the area and there are additional costs to pay (cleaning and tax). Overall, we had a nice stay and I would definitely stay again.
