Lovely Neighborhood

Pros: I was pleased to find the hotel near the vaporetto stop and within walking distance of the crowded tourist sites (and traghetto service).
Cons: I would've liked the a/c to stay on while I was away. It only seemed to come on when I had the security card in place and the window shut.
Location: Great spot for those that want to escape the crowd at St. Marks. Mornings and evenings were lovely. Pubs, restaurants and (my fav) Coop nearby.
I booked a single room at the hotel in July 2015. I didn't need much of anything because I didn't plan on too much time in the hotel. I wished I had a canal view, but I was happy with the bathroom and the oasis the room provided during the heat wave. The small deck on the top floor was gorgeous and visitations to the ground floor dock served as an adequate substitution for the canal view. Note: If you buy your vaporetto ticket online, you must walk to St Mark's to get your ticket prior to using the other stops. It's a fun and winding walk thru the best parts of Venice. Arriving and departing Venice from this location was the biggest challenge. Thanks to Google maps, I was able to navigate the narrow passage ways.

Excellent, Worth every penny

Stayed 4 nights during the beginning of september and was very impressed of the many decorations of the entire place and excellent customer service and staff. Breakfast is excellent as well at the amazing garden. Will recommend to anyone traveling to venice.
