The staff was very friendly. The pool was closed which was the main reason we chose this hotel for our 2 kids. Our first room was dirty, hairs in tub, sprinkler head falling out above bed, floors were not cleaned and walls were filthy! The room they moved us to had hairs in the tub the floor was not clean and dust everywhere on lamps and clock. Chair was all stained up. It was not a good experience.

Great place to stay if you are ever in Muncie

This hotel is very nice. The staff were kind and responsive to my needs. The room itself was clean and very spacious, as was the bathroom. There are plenty of outlets and I was able to adjust the temperature to my preference. The view from my room was not great--just an open, snowy field--but I didn't spend much time sitting in the room looking out the window, so no big deal! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling, and coffee was readily available throughout the day and evening. The parking lot could have been cleared/salted a bit better, as I came in the winter and it had snowed lightly earlier that day, and I had no trouble on the roads but had to tread carefully in my rental car when parking and going in/out. At least there is plenty of room and no charge for parking. The only thing I really didn't like was that I came back to my room on the second day and found a note stuck in my door, stating that the hotel staff will enter your room after 48 hours regardless of a "Do Not Disturb" sign to "ensure the safety of our residents." I always leave the DND sign up when staying in a hotel out of concern for the safety and security of my possessions, and was a bit put off by this policy, as I have never heard of another hotel doing this. I can understand the logic, but I was annoyed by this notice. Overall, though, this is a lovely hotel that I would recommend to fellow travelers.
