Visited Japan many times but this was my first time in Osaka. The Intercontinental Osaka turned out to be my favourite place I have ever stayed in Japan and also throughout the world. It's newer then most Hotels so it's very modern with well planned room features that just make sense when you are experiencing your visit. The staff are amazing, attentive and very friendly. All staff at 5* hotels especially in Japan are friendly but IHG's hospitality actually seems genuine and wholesome as apposed to a business transaction in most other hotels I've visited.

We had a wonderful stay at the intercontinental Osaka. Mr Wynn Williams was super helpful in arranging a packaging service to send our souvenirs back to the US. All staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We also loved the gym and onsen. Only sticky situation was due to the man staffing the onsen only spoke Japanese and I noticed on multiple occasions there ware a language barrier when westerners had questions about the various customs of using slippers in the locker (and where to take them off) how to store clothes in locker, etc. I had difficulty asking him where the bathrooms were but after playing charades, we figured it out :) I would recommend this hotel without any qualms. Thanks again for an incredible stay!
