Bad experience!

Pros: Nothing.
I checked in and within the hour I left and found a different hotel. The room was dirty and was next to a high traffic area. There are plenty of other nicer and cleaner hotels in the area.

Good priced hotel...

Pros: The kitchenette, location and the fact that my requests for extra pillows was taken care of with a smile...
Cons: More frequent cleaning of blankets and bed spreads...
Location: Right next to Tysons Corner (a huge mall with movie theatre, hundreds of shops and restaurants..
Blanket on bed had stains on it...changed it out...rooms had kitchenette...first room I was in had an odor......

What you see is not what you get

Pros: There was a very nice man who appeared to be the manager. He should spend more time at the front desk
Cons: Alot
Location: Good location
Good luck doing an extended stay not a single cup , not even a plastic cup. No coffee maker and even though I called to confirm my booked smoking room no smoking rooms in entire building which is why I booked there. Continental breakfast consisted of instant grits , bagged muffins that looked shrunken and years old and coffee. Garden area out back filthy, shower like a light sprinkle, act could not be adjusted and first room keys did not work , had to go back twice . Rarely was there an attendant at desk and was she was there she didn't seem to have a command of the English language. Will not go back

have been at $40 motels that were better

Pros: Staff was cordial. Room was clean.
Cons: Lots. Fell pretty short for the price.
Location: Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby, but sometimes a bit awkward to get to due to local street routing, i.e., a lot of turns to go a few blocks
I have been at $40 motels that were better. (Well, maybe not in the DC area.) But, this place was pretty lacking in the basic building and infrastructure: * Door jam was missing the strike plate, making me concerned about security * Toilet seat would not stay up without holding it... maybe not a problem for girls :) * No drinking glasses (or any other dishes or utensils) in room, without ordering them from the front desk - First place in my memory of hundreds of hotels that I didn't at least have a plastic glass in the room - Made me pretty thirsty my first night there, until I learned I had to ask for a glass - Usually "suite" type places include all the utensils without asking for them * No trash bin near the desk On the other hand, the staff (one person at a time, it seems) was very cordial and helpful, and nothing wrong with housekeeping, except there wasn't any during my three-night stay (which was expected).
