The following is an honest review based on my personal experience. First, I am shocked by the high star reviews from other patrons. This property is little more than “superficially luxurious.” Front desk staff member who checked us in was missing a front tooth. She advised us room service was closed. Bathroom floor was filthy and didn’t appear to be washed in a long time. After getting out of the shower, my son wiped the floor with a towel and it was coffee colored with dirt. Shower had two conditioners with NO shampoo. We only stayed for a layover, but overall it was a mediocre experience and not worth the price of $500 per night. Price point should be closer to $200, given the service, room, and subpar cleanliness. When I made the front desk aware of the room issues, they said “sorry about that” in a way that made me feel it wasn’t the first time they have heard this complaint with no action. Bottom line, I have stayed at much nicer hotels for lower prices. Personally, I would recommend booking your stay elsewhere. Actually luxurious hotels are not in short supply in this area.

A must stay in Miami. Classic elegance. Like staying in a movie set. Great place to relax in splendor, with unlimited photo venues. Yes it is old and pricey, but it is a different kind of five star property. Stay here at least once in your life time.
