I was on the 4th floor and it is very noisy: we can hear people opening their doors as if we were in the corridor! I could also hear the alarm clock of my neighbour. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast good for a decent price.
After a terrible experience with Ricks City Hotel 2, including rat feces on their "clean" sheets, we had to hurriedly book this one. What a change! Amazing service at the counter, clean and warm rooms, and a fantastic, clean bed. We loved it! The young men working at reception are incredible hosts and will do the impossible to make you feel at home. I will never staty anyhere else but there.
We booked the hotel for the free WiFi as we would need it for genealogical research while in Trier. WiFi went out at 10:30 pm on first day of our stay, was out all of the 2nd day, and finally came back in the evening of the 3rd day. This ruined our plan. Hotel was apologetic and comped our breakfast. My wife had asked if breakfast was included and was told “Yes”, but on checkout we were told “No” and they wanted to charge us for it.
This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff and excellent room. Very clean and tidy. Spacious and convenient.
The hotel 10 min walk from trier suid train station and 1 min for buss station and 5 min for the shopping area and restaurants, staff helpful the lady on the Receiption was supper helpful always smiling I don’t like the breakfast there they should make sure to clean the area well and close the cheese boxes and eggs overall the hotel good
