Enjoy beautiful Elk River!

Our river side retreat offers 2 (full-size bed) bedrooms with bedding provided. Full size bathroom with towels and wash clothes, hair dryer. Dine in kitchen stocked with dishes and assorted pots and pans. Microwave, toaster, coffee pot, mixer. Sorry no dish washer. or ice maker. Living area includes tv, DVD player and a CD player. We have wifi and satellite tv. We do not have a land line phone, but there is one available with free long distance within the United States at our house, which is just up the drive way. Washer and dryer on site. Front porch with a view of Elk River. A back porch/ patio area with picnic table and fire pit. Electric out door grill. We are on site if you have problems. We are close to Watauga Lake, Twisted Falls and snow skiing in Western North Carolina.

Fantastic
Everything about our stay was wonderful!! Terry actually reached out to us to make sure we would be there before dark and if not he would turn in the lights for us, Becky’s cleaning is over the top and they provided everything imaginable in case you are forgetful like me =] we would absolutely come back again and again and definitely would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area! The hosts were even so nice as to mail a toe ring to me that I had lost during our stay. Thank you so much for everything!! 💛😁

We had a wonderful weekend getaway! My sister and i took my niece to go snowboarding for her birthday. Beautiful views! Close to lots of places to go hiking and beautiful waterfalls. The owners of the property are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed! I will definitely stay there again!

The Best!!
This was our second time to stay here. I’ve regretted not leaving a review the last time I was here. The owners saw we wouldn’t be there before dark and turned on the porch and house lights so we would be able to get in easier. The place is always spotless, the front porch views are fantastic, and Terry and Becky (the owners) are wonderful and care how about your stay. This place is a real gem!

Terry is the man!!
The place is located in a perfect place to disconnect from life, but if you can't there is wifi that will keep you in touch sharing the amazing pictures of the beautiful landscape or the fireplace that the host have ready with masmelos to have a wonderful night. Everything you need to feel comfortable and homey. Close to the sky resorts making the winter getaway perfect. Thank you for sharing this place with us!!
