Hot, Noisy and Unhelpful, but close to Airport

Pros: Aside from everything that went wrong with the hotel, it was very clean.
Cons: Customer Service is totally lacking. After we complained about A/C, we were offered another room, but we were told the A/C is the same throughout.
Location: This hotel is in an industrial park - did NOT know that. 5 min from airport was only +. The shopping center nearby was fabulous. Good shopping &food
We chose to stay at the Malaga Nostrum near the airport because of an early flight in the morning. We scheduled a wake-up call for 3:30 which was a knock at the door at almost 4:00! My daughter & I checked into the hotel & unpacked a few items. It was very hot in the room & we tried to adjust the A/C lower but it didn't work. We were both sweating! I called the front desk, not easy since there were no instructions or numbers to use to call anyone in the hotel. Just kept dialing 0's till someone answered & they transferred us to front desk. A repairman came up, said it was not working, left & said he would be back in 5 min. The hotel mgr. called our room to tell us nothing was wrong! We asked him to come up & check it out. He did & told us to OPEN THE WINDOW! No screens & it faced another room 20 ft. away so no privacy either. Restaurant under our room was noisy most of the night!! Then the mosquitos arrived. After we saw the naked guy in the room across from ours, we closed the drapes, sweated & listened to clanging dishes. There is not even a clock in the room, so bring your own. Plus, the free WiFi did not work. Next morning took the "Courtesy Shuttle" to airport which we paid for. Doesn't "Courtesy" mean free? Loved Malaga, but dissatisfied with Hotel Malaga Nostrum.
