This was sold as an older, period-style hotel. Instead, it was a broken-down pit of a hotel. The pool has not worked in months, if not years- ( this is false advertising.). But, the staff took the cake; it seems to be a "works program" for those who could not get a real job, and thoroughly don't understand what "hospitality" means. They seem to think that we, the guests, are there to bother them from their cool lives at the hotel. Sad.
This could be the fabulous, retro hotel in a sea of chain hotels--but it is not. The only bright spot was the small restaurant and taco bar downstairs--run by someone else--whose tacos are AMAZING! (travel-o-city should investigate the property...reality vs advertisement.)

We're sorry to read after the fact you did not enjoy your stay. Without knowing there was an issue, we don't to fix it. The pool is shown on Expedia's website as closed for renovations so it's not false advertisement.

I had a single queen bed. The room was small...just a little bigger than the bed. The bathroom was tiny. There was no cable service. On the other hand, the price was very low compared to surrounding properties and it was an easy walk, about 3 minutes, to the convention center.
