It was perfect for a solo traveler! Shimbashi is a major train hub so getting around was super easy! I had a view of Tokyo Tower and it was the best surprise. Small room but for a solo traveler it was perfect! Connected to a Lawson, made grabbing snacks and a late dinner easy. It’s a medium foot traffic area so lots of places to eat and coming home late didn’t feel eeery. Lively area

A newer hotel with helpful staff. They were more than happy to hold onto our luggage the day with checked out so we could explore Tokyo a bit more. The room was very tiny but that seems normal in Tokyo and Kyoto. Conveniently located with an entrance to the back of FamilyMart.

In general, there was a good stay friendly staff, and freebies like bath sponge, toothbrush, and hair mask among other stuff was available. Also, I found it very convenient that they had a hair dryer & curl-flat iron. We were placed in a smoking room even though when I booked said “smoke-free property” and they tried to charge me ¥1,000 for an upgrade to place us in a non-smoking room, I showed them where it said “non-smoke property” on the app I booked and after that, they agreed to move us to a smoke-free room without any cost. Communication was a little troubled but nothing that you can fix with the translation app.
