In the business district, APA Hotel & Resort Nishishinjuku Gochome Eki Tower is in Tokyo's Shinjuku neighborhood, a walkable area with good shopping. KidZania Tokyo and Roppongi Hills are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and Tokyo Tower. Sunshine Aquarium and Ueno Zoo are not to be missed. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central and quiet location for the sightseeing. It's also convenient to public transportation: Nishi-shinjuku-gochome Station is just steps away.

Great! Perfect location and staff is trying their best communicate well in English. Thanks to the staff who assisted well for my refund.
Please note: the bed has no top sheet so there's nothing between you and the comforter except your clothes. The comforter didn't have a removable cover. It was the same at another hotel so I assume it's cultural and it's not affecting my rating. The location is good - directly across the street from a subway that is 2 stops from the main Shinjuku station, though you'll often need to transfer at the middle stop. The neighborhood is business oriented so there aren't tons of cafes or anything, but that means it's a little quieter at night which is nice. There are three 24-hour convenience stores within 1 block of the hotel. The bathroom was extremely small. I'm a medium sized person with simple toiletries - there wasn't enough counter space and I banged myself a few times climbing into the shower. The room was clean (and I'm picky about hotels). It was small by western standards but enough room to put my stuff, take notes at the desk, etc so I have no complaints about that. Guests have access to a 'public bath' or spa. It looked like a nice facility but I'm more of a private person and chose not to use it. The reception staff spoke English and the check-in process was mostly automated, so very easy. I consider this hotel to be a good value since it was clean and in a good location.
