The Royal Crescent Hotel is one of the finest places I've ever stayed. It is relatively expensive, but so, so worth it. The rooms and grounds are beautiful -- behind the historic building is a large garden with many places to sit and enjoy the sun (which shone brightly while I was there!). The spa is heavenly. I got a wonderful, relaxing massage while I was there, and spent every evening in the relaxation pool, whirlpool, and sauna. The restaurant serves world-class food and cocktails. Really, everything was so perfect, down to the smallest detail ... not the least the attention I received from the staff, who were, to a person, polite, helpful, warm, and professional. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Follow my example, save your pennies and splurge on this lovely, lovely place!!
