This was my first time at this property and I did have high expectations because of the cost. Overall to summarize it was underwhelming. I had just went to another nice hotel in Austin Texas just a couple weeks ago and the service was not even comparable. At Avila La Fonda Hotel the website has 24 hour concierge service which is not true and I needed to know how to get somewhere and they couldn’t tell me how to get there and so I missed out on some thing I have been looking forward to. Secondly that same night I tried to call the front desk for 30 minutes with no answer so I literally had to walk out of my room into the front desk where the guy was a few feet away chatting with another employee about personal things. I just expected a little bit better service and for the website to be accurate. I did like the look of the room and the Decour I loved the Jacuzzi hot tub but I wouldn’t stay there again due to the service and the inaccuracy on the website that really disappointing me

So relaxing!

We loved this hotel and it was such a relaxing get away for our anniversary. The hotel staff was wonderful. Despite a mix up with our room due to overbooking on line we still had a great stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is a perfect retreat from the business of life. We enjoyed the appetizers, pie and coffee and croissants. Beautiful place, beautiful friendly staff.

Likes home

Comfortable and warm, I feel like my home. Walk two minutes to the beautiful beach. My dog runs with many happy dogs on the beach. I think I will come again.

A wonderful and special place,

The best place for relaxing , great getaway, we went on a romantic vexation without the kids, and so happy we choose this hotel, it was exactly what we hoped for and more.
