Good afternoon Jane, I apologize for the inconvenience of the sink, toilet, lighting bathtub, and pillows. I have shared this review with our staff. The problems you experienced are not vindictive of our normal level of service and accommodations, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

The front desk was very nice when checking in, but we were not notified the pool was out of order. We found out when we got ready and headed to the pool and saw a sign on the door. Very disappointed we couldn’t swim, one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Then when we got into our room, it was very obvious that the floors (carpet) had not been swept. There were crumbs everywhere, a strawberry, blueberry, French fry and a used cup were found on the floor. The housekeeper, Kensie, was very helpful and apologetic for the floors. We were rushed out in the morning due to a dryer fire on the property. This was an unfortunate accident and no fault of the hotel, just thought I’d mention how we ended our stay. I’ve stayed at several Country Inn and Suites in the past and have had great experiences, but this one was not what I was expecting and made for a disappointing stay.

Main areas of the property were in good shape. Our room was clean but interior had seen better days. Needed refurbished, had a bit of a musty Oder, tub shower curtain, had been pulled out of the wall and haphazardly replaced, and walls were in rough shape, interior doors, as well. Breakfast was good for an inclusive one.

Unfortunately during our stay the pool was closed for maintenance. Other than that the hotel was very nice

Location was great! Outdoor area was nice but they need to pull weeds and maintain landscaping. Breakfast food and staff was great! Near a railroad track. You will hear the train at night, but its nit terrible. Seems to come through around 5 in the morning
