Pool was not clean 👎 there wasn’t enough toilet tissue, Kleenex, washcloths ect. Husband is disabled & I thought when I booked that I had requested easier access & bottom floor room but we were 2nd floor. Thankful for the elevator

To start off the room wasnt cleaned very well. There was long black hair on the pillows and in the bathroom. The sheets appear to have been just wadded up under the mattress. But the main issue was the noise level. The smoke detector in my room and also down the hall kept going off randomly throughout the night. I am NOT a smoker. At first i thought low battery but battery light not blinking and after about a couple hours I figured out it was somehow connected to the bathroom light/ fan. Whenever this was on the alarm would go off. When it was off the alarm was silent....so now I'm concerned there's faulty wiring and still afraid to go to sleep plus the alarms still going off down the hall. Then about 3 am a family came in slamming doors, talking very loudly, kids screaming and a baby crying... They finally settled down around 4 and just as i think i can finally drift off to sleep the smoke alarms start again. Not the way you want to spend the night when been on road all day and facing another day of driving in a few hours Noisiest night I ever had. Apparently the smoke detector is somehow connected to bathroom light/fan.

Overall it was clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Good selection on breakfast items. We were very pleased with our stay, would definitely stop there again if we'll end up at the area again.

Not professional. Breakfast was pretty horrible . Not very clean and only got 2 towels in total for everything . I use to work for days inn and we had to give 3 of each. (Hand,face & body) . The floor had a lot of hairs , and the overall smell was a terrible .

Disappointing considering the relative age.

Pros: The in-room air conditioning worked very well.
My wife and I have stayed here before but are disappointed at how seemingly quickly it is going downhill. If creepy, dimly lit buildings with no air conditioning are your thing then this might be the place for you. Add that the rear door to the hotel, the one that's labeled with instructions to stay closed all of the time and is supposed to only be accessible by guests with room keys, was continually propped open with numerous shady looking people and vehicles lurking around. We had no "issues" to speak of but that they can not do the basics of replacing burnt light bulbs and general paint touch ups throughout speaks to the lack of basic care and attention. Could definitely use an upgrade/a little more effort to the free breakfast as well. We come to Groesbeck quite often but will be trying the Quality Inn next door on our next visit.

Best stay at best price!!!

Great hotel!!!! Clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast bar. Will stay agin.

Great Hotel

Wonderful new hotel. Fresh clean - a great value. We came a couple of weeks ago for one night and now we are here again for two more. We will be here often!

Awesome Hotel

This hotel is the best value in East Texas. Brand new, it is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and always wanting to please. I will stay there every time I get a chance.
