Arrived at the hotel to check in at 530 pm only to be told the entire hotel was closed. No phone call, no email , no reason given. Fortunately I had someone to give me a ride to another hotel - they didn’t even offer a shuttle or alternative booking. No real apology either. Such poor service/management.

The “hotel” itself is fine—no complaints. The restaurant menu was extremely limited, and relatively expensive for what it was. The disappointment centered on the airport shuttle service. Frankly, the ONLY reason to stay in an airport hotel is to have quick and reliable access to the airport. When I inquired prior to our arrival, I was assured that there was a shuttle to the terminals every 20 minutes, 24/7. Perfect! But not true, and certainly not adequate. My wife and I arose at 300 am, showered, dressed, packed, and were downstairs at the desk at 400 am, hoping to be at the American Airlines terminal by 420 or 430 for a 600 am flight. Yes, I know, that’s cutting it a little close. When we arrived in the lobby there were 4 others waiting for the shuttle, and the hotel receptionist told us the bus would be there in 5 minutes. Ok, we’re good, right? Wrong! People continue to trickle in, but still no shuttle. There is no orderly queue, just a group milling around and getting larger by the minute. The shuttle finally pulls in between 415 and 420, by which time the crowd has swelled to about 30 people, some with enormous bags they can’t even lift. 4 flight attendants from Southwest run in at the last minute and push to the front. The driver loads luggage into the rear and the 15 seats fill up. My wife was seated—I ended up standing in the aisle with nothing to hold onto but rooftop. 21 people crushed into a 15 passenger bus. Unsafe and late. Need 2x capacity!!
