Get what you paid for...

Pros: The AC worked.
Location: It is just a 5 minute drive away from Patriots Place and Gillette Stadium, which is convenient for sports fans.
I requested a non-smoking room, yet there was still a scent of cigarettes/pot in the room. My clothes smelled of smoke after I left the next day. They even upgraded me to a "deluxe" room, and it was less than deluxe. The walls are paper thin, especially the ceiling, so you can hear the creaking of the beds and floorboards. The curtains were broken and wouldn't close all the way, which limited my privacy in this first floor room. The price was right, it was only one night, but personally, I would have preferred sleeping in a tent to staying at that hotel again.

America's Best was America's WORST

Pros: NOTHING other than the location, which is close to Gillette Stadium.
Cons: EVERYTHING - the rooms need to be cleaned and disinfected - the sheets need to be cleaned - the foam comforter needs to be incinerated - etc...
Location: Gillette Stadium is nearby.
This was the absolutely WORST hotel stay I have ever experienced! We arrived early and entered the lobby. There was a smell of mildew and some kind of cleaning agent. No one was at the front desk. There was an elderly gentleman vacuuming the floor in the lobby and told us that the check in was at 3pm because the staff were busy cleaning the rooms. We left and came back later in the evening. We were welcomed by the smell of mildew and old cigarette smoke in the lobby. The desk clerk was not friendly at all. He asked for my ID and didn't even tell me where the room was located, but just handed me the room key. The room was DISGUSTING! It was dirty. There was some kind of red splatter all over the wall behind the refrigerator!! It was splattered all over the wall all the way up to the ceiling! The bathroom had someone's hair in the sink and the corners in the bathroom had hair and dirt in all of them. The tub was not clean either! It was late and we decided to stick it out and sleep there, against our better judgment, but we were tired after spending the day at Gillette Stadium and running a 5K earlier. We were exhausted, so checked the bed, which was also not 100% clean, but acceptable. There was some kind of FOAM comforter on the bed that felt sticky and was too disgusting to keep on the bed, so we removed it. The air quality in the room was TERRIBLE - musty and smelly - it smelled like mildew and old cigarette smoke. AWFUL!! Breakfast was awful, too.

Gillette Stadium and close to Foxwoods

Pros: Closeness to Foxwoods and Gillette
Cons: Linens washed and staffers more available to answer questions.
I recently stayed the night at the hotel, but was extremely nervous due to the previous reviews. Arriving at the hotel it looked like a decent place on the outside. When I approached the front desk it took a couple minutes for a staff member to greet us, but wasn't too long. I retrieved my key went to my room and inspected it. The biggest issue my girlfriend and I noticed was a "love stain" on the blanket. We quickly removed the blanket from the bed and proceeded to leave it on the floor. After realizing it was pretty close to Foxwoods (about hour and fifteen minutes away). I woke up relatively early due to noise, individuals were already tailgating outside and the door which connected our hallway to the lobby was continually opening. Again, I didn't mind due to it being a game day, after all that's why we were there. It was relatively close to the stadium, we were going to remain parked there and walk, however were unable to find a staff member to ask so we moved. Overall it was a decent stay, I wouldn't recommend it if you're staying multiple days, but if you're doing what I did, a one nighter before the game, then it is perfect.

do not waste the money

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Poor breakfast
First off let me start by saying I have many complaints about this hotel. We went in knowing that this is a value inn and did not expect it to be a Hilton. When we checked in everything went smoothly. After going to our room, we needed to ask for extra towels. There were 3 of us staying in the room, and they left us two towels. There was a coffee maker - no coffee or cups, etc in the room. If we knew we had to bring our own, I would have done so. When I asked about the free 24 hour coffee, I was told that it's available, I had to then ask where, and was then told where. Then I said I didn't realize we could go into the eating area as all the lights were shut off and it was dark. So being courteous, I did not go in. When I stated to the desk man that it was dark he stated bluntly to me that the lights are ALWAYS on till midnight. Okay so why two nights in a row were the lights all shut off. Finally he said, if that's all you want I can give you coffee for your room. I stated that I didn't know it was available as there was none in the room to begin with. He said, we have new people that don't know what they are doing. Then we left yesterday after showering, and getting ready to go out for the day, and expected our room to have been made up, new towels in the room, more coffee and cups etc. But, nothing was done. We did sleep good, sound was not an issue, but, honestly, I thought that we would at least not have to beg for everything we got, or make up our room ourselves, or have to ask for something every time we turned around. I am VERY DISSATISFIED with this hotel!

Cons: no daily maid service, no coffee in rooms, rude staff

A little shabby but clean and comfortable and inexpensive.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
I had never heard of this chain of hotels before so I didn't know what to expect. The Inn I stayed in was located basically across the street from the Gillette Stadium on route one in Foxboro MA. I arrived late and after a few minutes I was greeted by the night manager who gave me my room key and number. Although there was a club with a live band off the lobby, my room was quiet. The room was clean and containes a king sized bed. Temperature was comfortable. The next morning I enjoyed th complimentary coffee and a bagel. I did not have to complete any paper work before I left. I was heading toward NYC and was happy that the hotel was convenient to route 495. All in all, I would consider booking in this hotel chain again.

SO COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND TOTALLY RENT BY THE HOUR!!!!!!

I was Extremely disappointed with this hotel we stayed at in Foxboro. The bathroom was the most unacceptable, it looked like someone was living in this room, Ironing board was out and standing like it had just been used. There were red and blue towels on a towel bar in the bathroom. These looked like personal towels and the actual hotel towel rack was empty. The shower door was disgusting covered in soap scum and I refused to use it since there was also a blue body sponge hanging from the shower head. The entrance way to the room was old and very stained linoleum and there was stains on the furniture. I reserved a non-smoking room and got a room with an ashtray and the carpet and sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. We checked in late and it was impossible for us to find another place. On top of all this the nightclub downstairs within the hotel was pumping loud music and we were unable to sleep very much. This will discourage me from ever staying at a ABVI EVER in the future and I will be telling all my friends and family about this DIRTY RENT BY THE HOUR HOTEL I stayed at in Foxboro MA. If you have questions of the validity of my comments I do have pictures. Please get this hotel fixed it is Unacceptable! YUCK!
