Room had a view of Lake Tahoe. Situated on the beach only a few feet from the water. Gas fire place was unique and ideal for the log cabin decor. Decor and building is outdated. Still using a room key with number on key.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Had a queen room just yards from the Lake and was incredibly scenic. Exterior of hotel could use some upgrades to make it more attractive, but interior was comfortable and pleasing. Room included coffee maker and small refrig. Very basic continental breakfast but fortunately there were several places within a short walk for good food. Arrived as the last hurrah of ski season was finalizing, so it was quiet, not many occupants. Being our honeymoon, staff greeted us with a nice card and a complimentary bottle of wine in our room. Staff also recommended an old fashioned Mississippi Riverboat dinner cruise that was a blast ... a 3 hour tour of the lake that included a wonderful dinner, live music and dancing that was MORE than worth the price! Thanks guys!! We definitely would return!
