Very nice

I used to stay here frequently but haven't been to Santa Rosa in a few years. It was as nice as I remembered. Very clean and comfortable and very convenient. I had forgotten about the small cafe in the center courtyard! So convenient! Had a very nice breakfast there. Very good.

Stay here!

This place didn't look like much from the outside, but it was quiet, clean and relaxing with the outside courtyard. The restaurant had good breakfast. We would definately stay here again!

Under construction

Pros: The motel will eventually have 2 swimming pools and has a small breakfast/lunch restaurant on site.
Cons: The staff needs a lot more training in the check in process, and should avoid registering guests in the construction area if this can be avoided.
Location: Motel is near the highway, but you can get a room more towards the back. Near wine country of Napa and Sonoma.
The motel is under construction and the staff insisted on putting us in the section under going renovation. When we checked in, they didn't warn us of that, even though there seemed to be rooms available in the non construction section. When we asked to be moved to another room, they were rude and unhelpful; still putting us in a room in the construction section toward the end. Most of the construction affects the outdoor landscape area; some is also in the windows and door jams. The motel staff also doesn't seem to know the computer program for checking guests in and spends a lot of time (like 30 minutes) just starring at the screen and ultimately did not activate our keys correctly so we had to return to the office. All in all; our experience was very negative and we would not return.

Awful experience

The were bugs all over the dresser! They weren't ants but looked almost like little mites. The hair dryer shocked my wife and she was afraid to use it anymore! The shower worked poorly and was extremely claustrophobic! We came into Santa Rosa on our honeymoon to visit wine country. I was extremely embarrassed that a chose a dirty, subpar hotel!

Convenient near fwy

Closed the seasonal pool earlier than advertised to make renovations which were noisy and even on the weekend. Would have stayed elsewhere if I'd known.

Room was very clean with small fridge microwave and coffee maker. Laundry room on site with good prices to operate machines. Clean swimming pool and well manicured outdoors. Quiet even though it is right off the road. Felt very safe and conveniently located to food and shopping. Friendly staff gave us many suggestions on where to eat and sites to see. Will definitely stay here again😊

Pros: The staff and a small cafe on site
Location: Well located for Santa Rosa and the wine country. Easy access from the freeway - very quite with no high way noise.
We went to Santa Rosa for a 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. Due to heavy traffic a 90 mile trip took over 4 hours. Our room wasn't ready but the office manager (without my asking) bent over backwards to get us into a room to shower and change clothes even though that room would have to be cleaned again. We made it to the church with two minutes to spare. I don't remember her name but her courtesy and customer service could not have been better.

Great value!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, good price
Hotel was perfect for our needs. Clean and very quiet. One of a few hotels that will let you stay just one night in Wine Country. Great deal, and highly recommended.

A stay here is a winner on all counts.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We were very impressed with everything about this place. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The location was great, and the place was very clean. What counts the most everywhere is the staff: these people were professional, especially when, at breakfast, a patron at the cafe was intrusive to other guests. Evidently someone complained, because what I believe to be the manager appeared and handled the rather aggressive person with definite aplomb and in a timely fashion, without disrupting anyone else and treating the rude person politely and with as much respect as possible. I doubt most of the other customers in the restaurant did not even know what had occurred. We would definitely return, and recommend it to others.
