This property was BEAUTIFUL, the pictures online don’t do it enough justice. Staff was be very friendly and easy to get in touch with. Our room did have little ants though, which the staff was very quick about coming back to our room to clean up again. I mean the hotel is literally in the middle of a jungle so I guess it should be expected. I will say I wish they made the check out process more clear, it was never mentioned that we actually have to check out, with hotel and towel keys included. Usually we just leave everything in the room.

Very large resort, nice, clean. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. We did not get rooms as requested through Travelocity but it’s better to communicate directly with the hotel. One huge buffet, and few restorans for dinner registration. Great food ( except French and Stake place) Beautiful pool, very big and long. Every day different activities. Beach had lot of see weeds but it’s depends if the season. Stuff is cleaning it non stop ( don’t forget allergy meds! Kids got skin rush from it for a few days) Beach has big waivers all the time, but it’s not deep, and still some area for swimming. Would recommend! Great time guaranteed!

Second time here

We loved it enough to come back, obviously. And despite the dislikes that I'm about to list, we'd still come back. LOVED the food and extremely attentive staff. Chocolate cake at the coffee shop (at the chopping center) is out of this world amazing (same as last year!). Ice cream (gelato!!!) in different, delicious non-standard flavors (think raspberry cheesecake, walnut, oreo, coconut, etc). Hibachi restaurant was very fun and tasty - minus the heat/not well venitlated area. The pool was amazing. Now onto the negatives. The AC in our room was barely blowing *this* time. Even though we set it to 19C it barely ever went below 24C, if that. Last year it was perfect. The pillows were too stiff. Our beloved Taco-snack-place wasn't as good this time -- meats were quite dry. This one is not hotel's fault: people go and claim all the loungers early in the morning and don't show up or use them for half the day. Very annoying.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this resort for 6 days. The grounds were beautiful and staff very friendly. My only recommendation would be more air conditioning or fans placed in common areas/restaurants and theater area to make those areas more enjoyable. Overall great resort and would recommend and return.

Okay hotel with good service

The staff are exceptionally friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms need to be updated but are clean. Buffet food is good, don’t bother with restaurant reservations at the resort bc the food isn’t any better than at the buffet and it takes forever. The entertainment staff are only okay. They were much better 2 years ago. Same evening shows and games as 2 years ago, they need to mix it up if they want to inspire returning guests.

Nice Resort

Pros: The cleanliness and the friendly staff.
Cons: Yes, PLEASE stop with trying to push your club tour on guests. I did not pay money to be harassed about a club you are trying to sell.
Location: Xel-Ha, Tulum, Chichen Itza
A party of five stayed from 5/19/17 - 5/25/17. We had a total of three rooms and they managed to get all of our rooms on the same floor and in the same building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but the food got a little old after a while. They seem to have the same thing on their buffet at every meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My main complaint was that everytime we talked to a concierege, they tried to sell us on taking a 90 minute tour for some type of club they were selling. I did not go to this resort to be sold on a club they are pushing. I was asked at least four times to join this tour and each time, they tried to push me into doing it. Anyone else going to this resort should beware of this and steer clear if you don't want to be harassed about the tour and them selling you on this club. Otherwise this is a very nice resort for the money and the place is very beautiful. Please Parasio Beach, either stop the club tactics or ask the gues only once and don't continue to try to push this on them. It has made me not want to return and this was my second time there.

This resort was not familiar with Travelocity?!

Pros: The food, the décor, and the locale were wonderful!
Cons: Customer service and access to all facilities!
Location: We were too upset to participate in other activities this time. We had toured the Tulum site on a previous trip.
I do not like to be a Negative-Nancy, so I will first state some positives: This place was beautiful. Concierge, Rick went out of his way to help us, and the food was delicious! Now, the ugly truth: This is the medium-priced facility of three resorts to which visitors are SUPPOSED to have access. This facility was very segregated. It was so large we had to shuttle from our room in the back to the front desk and restaurants. There were separate shuttle services for each facility, and we did not have easy access to those nor the spa, gym, or shopping buildings in the higher-priced section. When we asked to arrange for return pick-up, front desk staff told us they had never heard of the ground transportation company that had dropped us off there! We had to go to one of the other facilities to do this. Ours was a last-minute trip during spring break, and the facility catered to all ages. (We prefer Adult-Only crowds). Our worst experience was upon arrival, when we learned that our reservations with Travelocity had not come through! The airline tickets and ground transportation had brought us there, but we were forced to pay cash the first night, until we could work out the problem. Our credit card was declined, and we were not prepared to pay again. We had to contact friends at home with our cell phone and locate an internet café to be able to obtain additional numbers for Travelocity during the first two days of our vacation!
