Casa do Valle offers a home away from home setting in the Sintra area. I like that you can walk to town in 10 minutes up hill and it is down hill back to the hotel. Rooms had balconies and views. It was very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.

Difficult to get there and without the car is quite tiering. Problems with arranging the taxi. The staff is not flexible and did not interest much in our comfort. Very nice lady during the checkout at least - thank you for your kindness. Breakfast was delivered to the room which was great however it was not much. Beautiful views and a calm area - that is what we expected and that was the reason for the booking. Hospitality could be better. Sintra is a very commercial place with a nice historical heritage but you can miss the Portuguese spirit that you can experience in Lisbon or Algarve. Thanks anyway.

B&B close to center of Sintra
Hard to find driving, the sign is a tile in the wall and difficult to see. Google gets you there and then you need to look for the tile. Only 500 meters from the National Palace and central tourist area. Quiet location, nice views.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly cozy, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. What stood out to me the most was their attention to detail – everything was just perfect. Plus, the view from the hotel was simply amazing. It’s evident that the people who run this place have a genuine love for what they do. Highly recommended!
