Airport proximity is great, but I'd go elsewhere

Pros: Proximity to airport, ease of check-in.
Cons: Sound-proofing, sliding glass doors in rooms, street-facing rooms, amenities, room décor.
Location: Drove to SF to take in the GG Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and back. ALL for less than $17 in gas (we had a MBZ). Close to public transportation, too.
I booked this particular hotel because I am a SPG member, and usually try to book within the Starwood family. Website and pics made it look as such. Upon arrival, first impression seemed great! Easy check-in, bar/lounge/restaurant to the left, elevators immediately behind the check-in counter. However, upon entering the room, it was clear to see that this was definitely NOT a Sheraton...not even a distant cousin. Looks like they tried to put lipstick on an old Holiday Inn or Howard Johnson. Although they claim this had a multi-million dollar renovation in 2015, the evidently skimped on the sliding glass doors. We had a room on the 3rd floor, and we could hear every car, ambulance, bar fight, and inebriated wedding guest outside. This doesn't include the drunk stumblers through the hallways. Seems there was no sound-proofing. Beds seemed comfortable, and the mini fridge was convenient for someone who might have traveled with drinks/food/leftovers. Overall experience and amenities were lacking and definitely not worth the additional price tag of having the Starwood name affiliated with it.

Disappointing

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service. Need to learn how to talk to customers
I have a feeling of being kicked out of the hotel. I got a call from someone from the hotel and informed me that my booking was ended. I need to check out in 15 minutes or they will through my belonging out of a room. I can to pick up at the lobby. I need to double check my booking because it was a mistake. I call them back in 15 minutes, They told me that they are fully booked and I have no room for me. The voice was very very cold. I asked them where i can pick up my belongings, he said at the lobby. It was terrible. We were away from the hotel about 2 hours driving and we have to look around for another location. We went back to the hotel to pick up our belonging with a lot of worries because I did not know how they collect my stuff. A receptionist told me that they are charged to my credit card already for one more night without my permission. I did not get any call or anything about the charge. They need to return my money but they did not.

disapointing

Cons: Follow through on commitments
The room smelled of dirty laundry, probably cleaned with dirty water? To top it off, there was a bloody snot on the shower curtain. Disgusting :( The check out clerk promissed to enroll me into their rewards program and comp us 1 night. I never got the confirmation email. Their rewards site does not recognize me. I called twice as a follow up and I am still waiting for a call back.

Perfect hotel for a football weekend

Stayed here so we could go to SF and watch the Niners game. About an 45 min from SF so not bad at all and the train is a block and a half away to take directly to Levi Stadium. The hotel is super clean, the bedrooms on first floor have easy access to cars via sliding glass doors. The bedroom was cared for each day by the staff and the bar/restaurant are open early and stay open late! Loved this place!

A Business Trip's Dream!

Pros: Room, bed
Cons: the pool had way to much chlorine made my hair smell and after getting out and showering it still burned my eyes a bit.
Location: Not much to be honest. There is a casino near by but I didn't get a chance to explore. Gas station, star bucks, subway. chipotle around the corner.
Thanks to a cyber deal I got the room at an incredibly great deal! The location isn't ideal if traveling for pleasure, but for a quick business trip it's perfect! The pool was heated which was nice, the rooms were clean and the bed was BEYOND comfortable! Honestly my only complaint is that the pool had an extreme amount of chlorine and my hair smelled like it for a while and it burned my eyes a bit. But if you don't swim you are all good! ha! I would totally stay here again!

Pac 12 Championship Stay

Pros: Looks
Cons: Too loud at night
Location: Football game places to eat highway
I was surprised by the price, $100. I thought that was very inexpensive for a hotel like this. I found out why. Everything was beautiful & pleasant, but at night I could not sleep. I could hear every conversation of my neighbors, every toilet flush, every sentence, every step taken going down the hall. People weren't being loud they were talking in a normal tone of voice. To top it off I heard a man belch as he walked by my door. The room was comfortable but at night it became unsleepable.

Am I being Punk'ed?

Pros:
I got an email the day before that my reservation wouldn't be honored. I called and all they could do was give me 1 bed instead of 2. Then when I get there I get room that already has people in it. We haul all our stuff back down for a second time I see 2 groups get turned away that had reservations. Then at check out I was not given any type of receipt to show my account was cleared. Then as I drove out of the lopsided parking garage a very old dirty mattress cove was hanging over a fence drying.
