The room was clean, bedding was greasy and comfortable but everything was really rundown, extremely musty, felt gross to walk on the carpet barefoot, wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom hardware was falling apart, website description also says there is a hot tub and pool, Neither was running or available, covered with tarps and crumbling cement outside, not worth it for the price, wouldn’t consider it an inn or suite, more like old motel. Will not book again there and will do more research when I see Clarion Inn and Suites, here in CT there are more reputable☹️

Ok hotel but reservation was mixed up

Pros: Conveniently located
Cons: The staff needs to figure out how to work with Travelocity or not use them at all. They should not make their guests feel bad for using the website.
Location: Applebee's right across the street...Master's 25 minutes away.
I got a call from hotel 3 hours before we arrived saying my credit card was denied. When I booked hotel through Travelocity I chose the option, "pay at hotel" because I wanted to pay cash. I told the hotel this when they called me and told me I had to pay now or they would give my room away. I was told "normal rules don't apply during Masters week." I told them this needs to be displayed somewhere because how was I to know that. When I got to the hotel they had me in a king size bed, was supposed to be 2 double beds. They told me that "Travelocity ALWAYS messes up the reservations." Even when I showed them my confirmation they told me it was wrong. They told me I should never use the third party reservation because they always mess up and make reservations for rooms they do not have. I eventually got into my room but it was a huge struggle. If the hotel has issues with Travelocity messing up reservations, why is it my problem as their guest. I should not have been given such a hard time, I did nothing wrong. If the hotel dislikes Travelocity then they need to take it up with the website, not their paying guests. I felt very uncomfortable with the rest of my interactions with the the staff after this. Because of this I will never stay at this hotel again.

Room needed maintenance

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, Free breakfast
Cons: Poor breakfast
When we finally was able to push our door open, we found leaves all over the floor, which was probably due to the seal on the bottom and one side of the door was gone allowing the cold air and whatever else managed to blow under the door in. The bathtub faucet was leaking and had left a puddle of old yellow water on the bottom of the tub. The floor around the fridge (which never got cold) had food crumbs and food stains that a little bit of scrubbing with a damp cloth could of brought up. The continental was your typical cheap hotel breakfast. One strudel was cut into fourths and the bacon and eggs were cold and tasteless. No wireless, but had a cable to hook into the internet.

Hotel is great value for cost. Clean and always plenty of room for my grandchildren I travel with!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, pool, clean
Cons: hot tub under construction
Most impressive is the staff. Jack, Ida, and others are welcoming and always pleasant and helpful. Expect two moe stays this summer!
