"Perfect stay in Seattle"
Hotel Motif was easy to find and right in the heart of Seattle. Easy underground parking, wonderful staff, and great room. Our room on the 10th floor had an amazing view of Elliott Bay from huge picture windows. Close to many restaurants and shopping, transit center, and walked a few blocks to Pike Place Market. Room was large, beds comfy, and bathroom smaller but fine. Shower head was best of any hotel we've stayed in. Small fridge came in handy. Only minor concerns were the sound of rushing air as the elevators went up and down, but we didn't notice it after a while. We were surprised at the $3 charge for the bottled water in the room, instead of being included. There was in-room Keurig with complimentary coffee and tea. Wi-Fi was free. Parking was on the expensive side, which is typical for downtown, but we were allowed to use the full 24 hours, even though we checked out at noon. They would even cover parking if we left later than the 4 pm cut-off time. Great staff and service. Restaurant looked like fun, with outdoor rooftop area, but we didn't go there during our 1 night stay. We would stay there again.

"Perfect Location"
I come to Seattle once a year. This was my first stay at The Paramount. Best decision I ever made. I planned on using the bus as I usually do, but never needed to. One block from the monorail station which got me to all the sights in Seattle Center , and space needle. I planned on taking the bus to Pioneer Square, but once walking, there is so much to see along the water, that I was already half way there before I realized it. Many great restaurants within walking distance (Serious Pie, Purple Café etc) not to mention The Dragon Fish right in the hotel. I will be staying again.

"Awesome Honeymoon!"
The Grand Hyatt is the place to stay in Seattle. It is located in the heart of downtown and is close to most of the major attractions. (walking distance) I would also recommend getting the Grand Club package as their breakfast was awesome.

"Excellent Hotel"
Travelled to celebrate my husbands birthday, could not have asked for better service, the staff were welcoming from the minute we stepped out of the taxi.  Upon learning that it was his birthday the staff sent up a card and chocolates to the room, what a wonderful touch.  The room was very clean and we had a water view which was unexpected.  the restaurant served excellent food and the staff went out of their way to accommodate specific requests.  I would highly recommend this hotel for any occasion.

"Nice hotel close to Pike Place Market"
Great location to stay and enjoy downtown venue. Could easily walk to Pike Place Market, shopping, and restaurants. We were disappointed that our room did not have a fridge and microwave. Also did not get clean wash cloths one day. Over all the stay was very good and the facilities and service were great for the wedding we attended.

"Nice hotel close to Space Needle"
The best thing was the view of the Space Needle from my hotel window! Clean room with shampoo, conditioner and body wash mounted in dispensers in the shower. We received a local newspaper at our door every morning. The restaurant, Brellas, was decent. This hotel was located just a block & a half from the Space Needle and Seattle Center which has TONS of activities like the EMP Museum, Pacific Science Center, Chihuly Glass Museum and the Monorail station. The monorail will take you to Downtown Seattle. Room was clean and the hotel was quiet, neighborhood was quiet. It was a great place to stay in Seattle.

"Great hotel in the heart of Downtown Seattle!"
This hotel was awesome. It was very modern, clean, and is LEED certified which is really great. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant Urbane is great and there are plenty of other restaurants in walking distance. This hotel is just a few blocks away from the monorail and just a couple more blocks from that is the Pike Place Market. There are also lots of other shops all around the hotel. We bought a movie and they covered it since we paid for our room in advance (which was also great!). I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only con is that there are no vending machines (which may be common for the area?) but there is a drug store and a target just a block or two away. Get out in downtown and enjoy the city! Also, I did not utilize the spa, meeting rooms, or gym but they look wonderful.

"Excellent"
There was some light maintenance being done to the hotel (some doors and escalators were down) but other than that, it was an excellent experience! Such a great location and the room was so spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed the service and my stay at the Westin! Very happy I stayed there.

The hotel has really good position and staff are nice . But if you choose the room near the street ,it will be noise at night. Everything is good except the room temperature is higher. I love this place . Feel confortable.

    Seattle Hotel & Travel Guide

Seattle, sitting in the far northwestern corner of the continental US, leads the nation in many ways. It is a center for futuristic high-tech firms, environmentally-sensitive architecture, and it has artfully mixed influences from many cultures. Seattle was the source of grunge music for many years before Nirvana and the center point of coffee culture long before the launch of Starbucks. Seattle is still the best place to see the future or get away from the everyday grind. With access to non-stop flights, natural wonders, quirky nightlife, and cheap hotels in Seattle, this visionary city is an incomparable destination for everything from adventure travel to a quick weekend getaway.

    Downtown and Day Trips

Recently, a flood of residents have been moving to Seattle thanks to the many high-tech firms centered in the city. The downtown area brings fans of music and high-quality organic cuisine from around the world. Seattle hotels tend to be pricier in the downtown area and less expensive in the University district. Nature lovers should plan on renting a car to experience some of the best Seattle day trips just outside city limits. Prepare to be awed by the natural beauty of the North Cascades, the islands of Puget Sound, and the 90-foot plunge of Marymere Falls.

    On the Waterfront

Seattle is a city defined by water. Visitors come to the waterfront and piers surrounding Pike's Place Market to find the best seafood, coffee and one-of-a-kind collectibles. Choose one of Seattle's waterfront hotels for amazing prices at creative venues close to the heart of everything.

Or, take a ferry to outdoor adventures on the San Juan islands, off the coast. Don't be put off by Seattle's reputation for rain. Most rain showers are light drizzles that clear up in no time. While you wait for the occasional drizzle to subside, tour the city's museums, the iconic Space Needle, or one of the many nearby wineries.

You're going to have a blast in Seattle. Put Travelocity in charge of finding the best cheap hotels or the best deals on first-class hotels all over the city.
