My stay at Hotel Andra was overall a pleasant experience. Positives: Most of the staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, stylish, and well appointed. It is in a very good location central to downtown Seattle and just a short walk from the market. I was able to check in early. Negatives: I have stayed in hotels in numerous large cities and I felt that it was expensive for the quality and amenities (about $350 with tax for a Thursday night). It was noisy for me. To be fair, I tend to be more noise sensitive than most. There was a lot of car traffic noise and sirens throughout the night. I did find a pair of earplugs in the bedside table but a fan for white noise would have been very helpful. I called the front desk and the person I spoke with was brusque and said they do not have fans. This was the only person I spoke with who was not professional and friendly. I gave the overall experience 3 stars because I felt it was overpriced, noisy, and my brief negative conversation with a staff member at the front desk.

A great hotel in the center of downtown Seattle.

The rooms are huge, the bathrooms are very nice, room service is quick and delicious. A nice small gym with weights and treadmills. Very clean and cozy. Easy to walk to the Pike market. Great location and great hotel.

Great Hotel!

Pros: Close to everything, clean, good customer service, spacious room, nice bathroom, great shower, vanity room(for suite), nice staff
Cons: Internet speed could be faster, cheaper parking, better food from restaurant
Location: Pike Place Market, Space Needle, EMP Museum, Aquarium, cute coffee shops, Target, Starbucks, Souvenir Shops
We booked the Suite and for our honeymoon to Seattle. It was our first time to the city and it couldn't have gone better! For those who aren't aware, when you check-in $400-$500 will be put on hold, if you only have a debit card that card will have all its assets frozen so keep that in mind. Continuing, the room was clean & spacious and the shower was amazing! Room service was quick and helpful (they even brought us up some jelly and ketchup at no extra charge). The food from Lola that we ordered wasn't that great though it could be because it was room serviced and not in the actual restaurant but I wouldn't recommend it. We ended up leaving an expensive Bluetooth speaker in the hotel room when we went back home, but after a quick phone call the hotel found the speaker and mailed it back to us! The hotel is in walking distance of everything of interest, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, EMP Museum, Aquarium, cute coffee shops, Target, pretty much everything.

Great Hotel for romantic weekend or extended stay.

Pros: The location, cleanliness, amenities, etc..
Cons: A little more knowledge from the staff re: public transportation within the city, i.e. water taxi, light rail, etc..Didn't see the concierge at all.
Location: Next door to Lola (restaurant & bar), and across the street from Dahlia bakery. Between the 2, you are set!
My wife and I were celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. We live in the Bay Area and she's never been to Seattle. I wanted a nice hotel with a location that we would be able to walk to most attractions. The Hotel Andra didn't disappoint. It was clean, comfortable, and next door to an incredible restaurant, Lola. Overall, we would stay there again and possibly even with our kids next time.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of everything

Pros: the location!!!!
Cons: softer mattress!
Location: you have to go to the space needle. look on Groupon for discounts. the market is a must as well. make sure you go to Serious Pie during happy hour
we stayed here before our alaskian cruise. it is within walking distance of everything!! we walked to the space needle. the port. pike place market. you have to stop at Serious Pie during happy hour! we shopped at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond to get some things we had forgotten for the cruise. the only reason i did not give the hotel a 5 rating is because the bed was a little hard. the rooms are enormous! huge walkin closet. nice bathrooms.

This hotel was so welcoming and centrally located!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, valet/doorman
Cons: no bathroom fan
A beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great location, comfy beds etc... My only complaint was that the bathroom had no ventilation fan but other than that, I love this place!

good value great location

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I got a great deal on this hotel. It is a great location, right in the middle of downtown. I had a superia room with 2 queen beds. My kids loved jumping on the beds, and they were very comfortable. Not a great view, but we were on the 9th floor, so nice and quiet with a view if the monorail. My only complaint would be no garbage cans or chutes in the halls or lobby. We accumulated quite a bit of trash, and didn't want to call to get it taken away. Tv was not great either, but I have hd at home. No where for dvd so good thing we brought our ipad and used the wifi.

This hotel makes touring Seattle a breeze!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, close to jazz alley
If you want want to have a clean,Scandinavian style room, right in the center of great shopping, eating and walking around; you'll find it here. From the moment I saw the location of the hotel, I knew I'd found my new favorite place to stay in Seattle. Everything was right outside the hotel. Inside, the rooms are tastefully decorated and have luxurious toiletries. They are spacious and uncluttered. Two of Tom Douglas' restaurants are either downstairs or across the street. You'll dine happily at either of them. Consider the Andra for your next Seattle stay. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Perfect location, great staff....highly recommended

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
This was an excellent choice for our vacation, this hotel is within walking distance to just about everything you'd want....great food, even to Century Link Field if the weather cooperates. The staff was very welcoming, Alex at the front desk was very helpful with maps and other information. Yes, the bathrooms are small but the use of spce was amazing...great storage, a walk in closet, and separate vanity. The hotel was incredibly quiet on the 8th floor. Room was spacious, warm and clean...LOVE LOVE LOVE the Andra! HINT: For parking, use the garage one block down - save $$$
