Great hotel and experience! I was flying across the country and the staff offered help with early check in and also recommendation of experiences locally. I loved the evening food and wine experiences as well, which was a joy! I couldn't recommend this hotel experience more!

Construction noise was awful

The hotel lobby and fourth floor were both under construction. Our room was on the 3rf floor and the drilling and grinding noises were so loud we couldn't even hear eachother talk!!!!! The noise happened from 1-7 pm on the first day and 9 am-12 pm the next day. We tried to nap and the noise jarred us out of bed. We said something to the manager and he offered us free parking, which was nice, but it certainly did not make up for the noise we had to experience. Construction was not advertised on the website when we booked.

I have to say the staff were excellent like they were very kind however the room conditions weren't good I got a lot of bed bug bites and the air conditioning gave a lot of problems problems the breakfast was okay however they should really change up thr menu everyday since it's basically the same thing every morning

first experience with this size facility. Very pleased

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, week night lobby social
Off the record -One staff person, Sat. night, management level, was inappropriately rude, but I think he was way out of his comfort zone. Probably not the PR rep you want up front. "Had no idea what to expect, but it was a most comfortable property. Grateful for the room sizes since we had 7 family members. Aside - we supply beds to like properties in the midwest and you did good! Great choice of product.

Splurge for the bay view!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, location!
My brother recommended we ask for a bay view room which are at the end of the hall / building with extra room and a full curved wall of windows. Excellent suggestion - what a treat! This is just what we needed, plus the kitchen and all accommodations were spacious and private. But best of all, this place is the perfect location for exploring all of the city's offerings. You can't go wrong in this location, for this price.

Our experience

Hotel was great after we changed rooms because the air conditioner was not working. We paid $ per night to park in their underground parking. The spaces were very small and tight. The 2nd night we got back late and there were no parking spaces available, so we went to the front desk and complained. We had to park in the handicapped space as they were not expecting anyone else that evening. If the parking was better - I would consider staying at this hotel again.

Pleasant and convenient

Very convenient to Seattle Center (Needle, other attractions), walkable to Art Museum and piers, where the free "streetcar" (temporarily a bus) runs the length. Excellent breakfast, other nice amenities.

We had friends come into town from CA for a quick trip and they did not want to have to rent a car. We stayed at Homewood, as it was only a couple blocks from Seattle Center. We walked to the center, took the Monorail downtown, went to the market and Post Alley and then made our way back. Later that night we walked to Key Arena for a concert. The hotel was absolutely perfect for this. We had a suite on the west side so we had a great view of Elliott Bay. Could not have asked for anything better. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Lastly, my husband is a wheelchair user and the hotel was more than accomodating to our needs. The only thing we found bad was that the eggs were cold at the complimentary breakfast. We would absolutely stay again!
