The place is a blast from the past. I stayed in a suite with a kitchen and the front patio was amazing. It was a somewhat warm day so they opened the pool for a few people who wanted to swim. The gentleman with whom I spoke said that the property had been in the family for about 24 years. They have their repeat customers of which I am now one. See you next year!!!

Staff is very cordial and helpful. I lucked out and found enough parking for my truck and trailer right on property. Just happened to have enough space by the pool fencing. But like I said, I lucked out. Parking lot not designed for that. Nice rooms. I can imagine in the summer these rooms can get pretty warm because of the cathedral type ceiling, but there is a window A/C that works pretty well. Would def come back if the need arises

it is the desert

expectations not high for inexpensive in bs. was ok. pool fine. prob with insects. super basic.

50's era motel in a good location

Pros: Great location.
Location: Anza-Borrego Desert - hiking, sightseeing, etc.
The motel is a little run down, but the staff is really friendly. I felt it was expensive but I was there in the high season. Good proximity to local attractions.
