5.0 What an interesting and historic place....
Was originally a monastery. Incredible staff. Beautiful views. Make sure to ask for room with A/C because not all have one. No elevator but staff assists with luggage. Good idea to upgrade to suite. Very historic rooms. Be sure you are ready for a somewhat challenging drive and narrow road up to hotel which can be challenging at times. We love this place and will return. Spoleto is an amazing town with beautiful views and lovely sites. The people are remarkably friendly. There are three underground electric walkways in very long tunnels that make the town, situated on a steep mountain, extremely accessible from bottom to top. The electric walkways connect to the large underground parking lots as well. Spoleto Festival is wonderful as well.
