Decent hotel about ten min from downtown

The hotel itself, though a bit outdated was still in decent condition. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The bathroom could use a deep clean, as the shower head had water residue, but it was usable. The bed was comfortable, and the patio appeared clean (though I didn't go all the way outside). The property was well kept, the continental breakfast was dismal-just cereal and bagels/muffins. Not too exciting. Overall a decent stay for a short trip.

Next to nature

Pros: The garden, lagoon, swimming pool setting.
Cons: Add meat and variety in egg preparation for protein in breakfast.
Location: Santa Barbara is an amazing city of contrasts: beach activities, Himalayan salt cave spa, museums, scenic mountains, nearby Solvang, Danish community.
Setting is serene. Lily pads/flowers in bloom. Spotted a turtle, and several ducks on lagoon. Enjoyed feeding the ducks. Sighted a hummingbird in flowering shrub; blue heron landed for water and food on morning. Staff were courteous, professional, and helpful with all questions regarding hotel services and Santa Barbara sights and activities. Pool was relaxing for day or evening swims. My only surprise was no elevator for second floor guests. However, staff offered and delivered my suitcase to the room when it arrived next day after flight delays. Thank you.

A good decent hotel just off the freeway

Pros: Good Clean hotel and everything worked. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi
Cons: Noisy water pipes in the walls Water pressure in the shower was low
Location: Very Convenient off the freeway, but still 6 miles from town.
This is a good decent hotel just off the freeway. We had a pleasant experience and everything was very nice and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The only thing we didn't like was the water pipes in the walls that were very noisy and woke us up a few times. Also, the water pressure in the shower was a little low. Other than that a very decent place to stay.

Felt at home

With a big family of 6, this hotel was 1 of few that had rooms to accommodate us. If traveling large, ask for room 202. Has 2 queens, a pull out sofa 2 balconies and plenty of space. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a few miles away from downtown but with a car we did not mind at all. The pool was clean and the continental breakfast was good. I would stay again one his hotel.

Not at all what we expected

This was an old hotel and had that musty smell in the lobby. The check in staff was excellent but the room was a huge disappointment. For the price, I really expected a lot more. We were stuck way out on the end by the parking lot and freeway. Just old and in need of repair. We didn't even know about the gorgeous courtyard and duck pond by the pool until we went to the continental breakfast. They really should have told us about that. Might have made a better impression.

Such a cute hotel. Comfortable and affordable

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and even jokes around a bit which I liked. The room was clean and overlooked the pond which I LOVED. The furniture looked like it had some wear and tear but wasn't aweful. The pool was nice and warm and the jacuzzi was perfect. The hotel is close the the freeway but if you are in a room Towards the middle you can't hear much. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Ok for a short stay. Was not a room you wanted to spend time in.

The grounds are lovely, the complimentary breakfast was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. The bedroom furniture was adequate. The bathroom was miserable. No apparent ventilation, low, small commode, and minimal space for toiletries. We were invited to go green and hang up our towels. The one single towel rack did not permit it.

I would go again

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The room was a bit dated in terms of the decor, but that bed was soooo comforatable. Of course I was on east coast time and pretty exhausted, but I prefer to think it was the bed. My wife said that the breakfast we pretty good, I was unable to try for myself, but she doesn't comment on food very much, so it must have been good. Great view of the mountains.

This was a resort like hotel with a great swimming pool

Pros: Quiet, nice grounds and pool
Cons: Nothing close
This hotel is a bit outside Santa Barbara...but it has very nice grounds with some resident ducks and a nice swimming pool. If you wanted to spend time by the pool or were with children, this would be a nice place to relax for an afternoon. The room was nice. There is not alot around the hotel and you have to drive for dinner etc...
