"Affordable and Super Cute but..."
I really wanted to love this hotel/motel, I really did. It's affordable(for Santa Barbara anyway), super cute, clean, close to the beach and within 6 or 7 miles from Santa Barbara. Just about everything you'd want in a place however after staying there I didn't love it. It's small but amazingly cute.. Beautiful courtyard, nice clean rooms and easy freeway access. My stay was uneventful but here's why I couldn't fall in love with it... The staff was professional but indifferent. The only two times I needed anything from them they let me down. Not because my requests were unusual or difficult, they just blew me off. Weird. The rooms were cute, clean and nicely appointed but man were the walls thin. I could clearly hear the folks on the other side of the wall talking in hushed tones in the morning, thank god that's all I heard! The footsteps on my ceiling sounded like giants playing soccer and the plumbing was so loud I literally couldn't hear the conversation on my phone when they were taking a shower or flushing the toilet in the room above. The pool was the size of a dining room and the spa was so small I couldn't sit in it comfortably. It's also right next to the freeway so some rooms may have some noise. My room was very close to the freeway but surprisingly the traffic noise wasn't an issue. Anyway I'd stay there again because of the price, location, courtyard and amenities, but I'll know what to expect the next time.

"One of the Best"
This hotel is extremely beautiful. The room was as good as it gets and the setting was outstanding. The beautiful plantings, the view of the water, everything was well thought out and I could have spent the rest of my life there and been very happy. The staff was terrific, very caring, especially the car hops who were so friendly and helpful. This was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. Hope to be back there in the near future.

"SB Down Town Get Away"
The hotel and staff was amazing, the ease of getting around was great and still tucked away from the hustle and madness of the down town noise and traffic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody want to enjoy a romantic, or Business trip or just to get away and enjoy city life with a small town feel.

"Monterey to Buellton Bike Tour end"
We rented a one-way car from this hotel and drove it to Monterey where we started our 3 day 250 mile trip down the beautiful Big Sur coast and onto wine country. What a treat to end up here. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed a beer by the outdoor fireplace before soaking in the jacuzzi. We had a great dinner in their restaurant. The bed was super comfortable...ahhhhh. The breakfast included in the room rate was much better than we expected - made to order omelets, lots of extras and good coffee - and again a great, friendly staff.

"By far the best hotel in Lompoc"
We have stayed at a couple of other hotels in Lompoc and we will only stay at the Embassy. It is by far the best hotel in town. The staff is very accommodating and I love the cooked to order breakfast. The evening happy hour is just another bonus. The best part of the hotel is the king size bed with the luxurious linens. They bed is very comfortable and I always sleep soundly.
