The hotel 'felt' European, e.g.space in a somewhat small room was laid out efficiently and was clean; glass half-partition to turn the tub into a shower, breakfast options mostly continental but also included scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. Hotel staff were courteous, quickly arranging taxi service that I desired, answering my questions, etc.. Walking was convenient, with good access to public transportation. I found plenty of walking distance options for food. On my final night, guests in a nearby room had a bit of a row at 2:30 AM. I suppose this is to be expected on occasion, but is not something I normally experience at a hotel. If I had been on a business trip, I would have wanted a gym at the facility. Whether or not I am on a business trip, I use a laptop, and would have liked more comfortable seating at the desk in the room. Overall, I had a good experience.

Excellent review Raymond! European size of urban hotel. We do feature larger rooms than the one you stayed. wider working area, private balcony with outdoor seating area for 2 . Thank you for visiting Barcelona! Best

Delightful classy hotel with superb staff

Understated elegance, staff very oreofessional, helpful and warm without being fake friendly . Excellent location - close to diagonal but far from the tourists. Great area to get a real taste of Barcelona

The room was facing a night club

Cons: Staff not friendly ,
Location: a little far from La Rambles , 20 minutes walk
The room was facing a night club, and was so noisy, couldn't sleep well
