Stunning in how disgusting it is

Pros: Nothing, it's totally disgusting: Travelocity: Stop making money from your customers by selling this place. It's unbecoming of your brand. Shame Shame
Cons: Travelocity: You should read the reviews of Trip Advisor, you should have one of your inspectors get to this site
Personally I did not think this type of hotel would be allowed to even be in business in this day and age! For 4 years now, I have been travelling. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hotels and motels around the world. This drug infested, unsafe, dangerous, non air-conditioned, booze fuelled, bed bug riddled, flea bitten, hole, takes my prize as the worst place I have stayed in the past 4 years. How dare they pass this off as a Hotel. And for it I had the privilege of paying $109USD for a night ( AUD $150 ). Absolutely outrageous. How dare they charge this much. Folks, heed the warnings of other posters and reviewers. I urge you. The good: The man at reception was really nice and friendly and I had a good chat with him. But that was it. The disgusting: Even he told me he comes in 3 days a week, he's a retiree, and he looks forward to clocking off at 7.30 each night, "I can't wait to get out of here" were his exact words. After checking in, I proceeded to my room on the second floor, way out the back. I walked past numerous rooms, through the smoke filled haze ( cigarettes and marijuana ), past at least 2 parties of about 6-7 men with eskies full of alcohol, smoking joints and smoking cigarettes. I noticed most of the rooms I walked past to get to my room had their doors wide open. What was this about I thought to myself? Every room was full of junk, rednecks laying on beds, smoking, drinking. On making to it my room safely I opened the door to about 4 or 5 c

Unclean and poor maintenance

First of all, I wasn't advised that there wouldn't be air-conditioning, it was a heat wave temperature, then , although staff was pretty nice, the room was very poorly kept, my socks and feet turned black on the filthy carpet. The bathroom is very important in a hotel stay, tub was nasty, floor tiles were cracked. The exterior was terrible with cracked paint and very poor grounds u poo keep and just Ugly place to come home to. I tried to get another room but was forced to stay due to no vacancies, so disappointed!

A good place to drink yourself to death

Pros: The room had cable TV and WiFi and, despite the horrible appearance terrifying tenants wandering around, I was not robbed or murdered during my stay.
Cons: How in the world can I cover all that in just 150 characters? Tearing the Hilldale Inn down to the ground would be a good place to start.
Location: There's a depressing dive bar at the hotel and a BevMo across the street if you prefer to drink yourself to sleep in the "comfort" of your room.
The Yelp reviews don't even begin to capture the spirit of this depressing, rundown, frightening excuse for a hotel. It's a residence hotel frequently visited by police and paramedics to attend to the shattered souls who call this place home. The Hillsdale Inn is also the dropoff point for inmates being released from county jail. The rooms smell of cigarettes, have no circulation, and the carpet/furniture/etc. is stained with ... well, I'd rather not know for sure. If you could choose between the Bates Motel and the Hillsdale Inn you'd be wise to book a room at the Bates Motel.

Terrible motel

Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Cons: Not overbooking, if that was the problem, and ANSWER THE PHONE
Started calling this motel at 9:22 to ensure we would have a room due to late arrival - they didn't answer the phone, and we couldn't leave a message - "voice mail box was full". When we got there the door was locked and a note was posted to check with the sports bar manager. That door was locked too - no one was answering the phone still. Not impressed with a motel who takes a reservation and then won't take a phone call and locks their door. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone - ever
