The hotel is an older hotel in downtown San Jose. Parking is a daily rate of $49 however across the street there is a public parking lot for $23 a day. The hotel does not have a very good 'drop' spot for luggage or large groups, we stood in the street with traffic to drop off luggage or the alternative is to carry everything from a parking lot in the city to the hotel. As an older hotel the water went out one day we were there, no pressure and only a trickle of cold water. We requested an extra blanket and pillow and never got it. The biggest complaint, as a Westin, we did not have a Heavenly bed, pillow or comforter. the bed was not comfortable, and neither were the sheets, pillows (old). there were several other hotels that were nicer within walking distance.

We could not park are vehicles near the hotel and the lot attendant said are truck would get broken into at night
