Refer made a lot of noise when running and we put up with it because we didn't want to change rooms. Dog fee was expensive compared to others (check before making reservations).
The floors were not level in several places and may bother people with balance problems. It wasn't unsafe but noticeable.

If you would be so kind to contact me, I can determine which room it was that you experienced some issues, and we can try to solve some of those challenges. While it is true, we enjoy accepting furry fellow travellers (harder to find such establishments these days - I know!), it is true we do charge a cleaning fee. This is so that we can professionally steam clean the rooms for the next guests after your stay. These services are a bit pricey, but we feel it is worth it to make all attempts to prevent allergy issues. Thank you again for the review, and for your booking, and despite the challenges, we still earned your four out of five, so I thank you for that kindness. See you next time! Exhausting check-in...
After 6 hr flight we arrived at check-in desk. Asked twice for a "room away from the highway" as one side of complex faces a highway. The desk clerk assured me our room was quiet and away from traffic. Asked again... Away from highway? "Oh absolutely, yes!" Room not only was the closest room to highway (30-40 ft), it smelled terrible! Back to desk where original desk clerk hid in back. New room assigned, very quiet but this one had no sheets on the bed, cleaning supplies on table and had not been cleaned. Third time to front desk FINALLY a clean, quiet room is given. Endurance is the key and lots of walking back and forth to front desk. Final room was great, breakfast was fine, checkout easy. Hang in there to get what you pay for....

Nice secluded hotel

This hotel was a surprising oasis in the middle of a metropolis. First it's in a fairly secluded and quiet spot. Second it's laid out like a complex of townhouse condos with paths and gardens all throughout with mature trees all around. The rooms are more like a nice apartment. Unlike most hotels who have gone to something less than continental for a breakfast buffet, this was a complete breakfast bar with attendants making sure it was always properly stocked.
