"A Short Stay"
The room was great but we weren't there very much. The restaurant was under rennovation and management but we were near China Town and it was the Chinese New Year, so exploring for food to stay in the spirit was no problem except for breakfast. We walked many blocks to find a sit-down place to eat. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. it was the first time we ever checked in to a hotel at a machine... swipe the credit card and we were checked in. Because of the breakfast situation, we had walked some distance and returned, we thought, a little bit more than an hour early, BUT the seasonal time had changed and that made checkout an hour earlier (forgot to set my watch forward). We could have still made it out on time but the keycard check-out time system locked us out 6 minutes early too early. The hotel staff was very understanding, reset out card so it would work for 15 more minutes. Fortunately, out things we were packed and ready to grab and go. We have never been locked out of a hotel room because of an automated card system that does more than just let us in and out of a room... We appreciated the free bottled water machines in the hotel. There is also as patio on the roof of the hotel where we drank our coffee and looked at the SF Bay and Embarccadero area. In the other direction was the TransAmerica Building only a few blocks away, and the US Immigration and Customs buildings.

"Great hotel and friendly staffs"
My husband and I stayed in October. The hotel is close to everything we wanted. Short 2 minutes walk to Bart, Bus station, cable car and shopping center. We had breakfast included which well worth it. They have both Japanese and American style buffet. My husband had conference passed the check out time. The front desk was really helpful and let us check out later to match the time he would done at the conference. The concierge staffs were knowledgable and gave us great recommendation. We also use room service, really enjoyable as well. Overall well worth money you spend. Will come back again when we visit San Francisco next.

"Awesome location, wonderful staff!! "
The staff was phenomenal, the room was perfect. They even had pancakes, eggs and sausage in addition to your standard muffins, fruit and oatmeal. The fact the breakfast was free was a definite plus. I can't rave enough about the staff. My flight wasn't until 11:50pm and they kept my luggage while I went out sightseeing. Even told me I can relax in the lobby area and watch a movie or catch up on work using the free wifi until I was ready to head to the airport. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything at a price I could not believe. I will be going back.

"Great hotel, not great experience on arrival"
On arrival we had to unload a lot of bridal dresses. We had to get our own cart, when my wife asked for help the attendant replied "I'm going as fast as I can, it's not like I'm smoking a cigarette". So rude. By comparison the front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. They apologized and offered a speedy check in. The rest of our stay was excellent.

"Massive Construction project "
Bad weekend at the hotel as massive construction underway with front and drive entrance ripped out. Convoluted side door entry to hotel. Otherwise rooms are big and nice as most Hyatts tend to be. Massive atrium design has some rooms nearly 100 yards from elevators.

"They were very welcoming. The valet staff was very nice."
Stayed in this hotel for part of our vacation to northern California. It was located in the financial district section of town just outside of Chinatown. The hotel was very nice, seemed to be geared more to business travelers than vacationers but nice just the same. The only thinkg I guess I thought was missing was a gift shop ( the had a small selection but not a real gift shop) and a cafe with a little lower price point. We ate breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was excellent. Other days we found some great places in Little Italy and in Chinatown. We had two rooms and they both had a wonderful view of Coit Tower and the Bay. The only downside is the $60.00 per night parking fee (we had 2 cars). I would recommend it to others though as the rooms were very nice and the staff very friendly.

Really liked this stay. The hotel was in a nice location that was quiet and yet had services nearby. Found the staff accommodating and pleasant. Hotel is being upgraded with some painting and work in progress. Elevator was a bit small.
