Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina - San Diego Hotels

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

1380 Harbor Island Dr, San Diego - Map
"Beautiful marina view!"
The hotel was great especially for the price! They upgraded my standard room to a 8th floor marina view which was very nice! The valet was a little pricey, $34 but well worth the additional $5 as self parking was $29. Excellent service everywhere at the hotel except the gift shop. The girls were on their phones and not very helpful. BUT, everyone else was great and I would definitely go back!

"Great hotel next to the water"
This stay was a birthday gift for my son and his wife. I stayed in the suite also. Staff was amazing. Especially at check in. They upgraded us a bay view room and on floor 11. What a view. Room was clean and they checked us in at 2 instead of 4! Everyone that works there was so friendly, except the older lady that cleaned up the breakfast trays. She walked by us more then a dozen times during breakfast. A bit unsettling as I felt when my son went back for more food, she didn't approve. Uncomfortable. Otherwise this hotel is wonderful. Our room had a few things that I would fix, like the bar sink faucet didn't work, no big deal, but why have one. And the entire faucet set on the extra sink in hall pulled out completely from the sink. The whole thing! The bathroom door opens out, so if someone is inside and comes out when you are passing, they hit you with the door. But the great outweighs the few flaws. I would definitely stay here again. Along with recommending this to my friends.

"Mission Valley Resort San Diego"
It seems this hotel has seen better days. For the most part, the grounds were tidy but worn. Enjoyed the flowery landscaping. Concrete steps and sidewalks were cracked and even the approach to the Lobby appeared to have lots of hundred-year-old gum stuck to the surface. That was yucky. The furniture was dated. I liked the little chair and ottoman, but one of the drawers of the armoir was clearly broken. I liked the vintage sink in the bathroom, but wasn't sure if the grout on the floor was dirty or just dark. The shower curtain was too small to prevent water from going everywhere. The mini mart is super convenient and the staff helpful. The restaurant is okay..

"Nice hotel next to bay and PETCO Park."
Hotel is extremely nice. Friendly staff. Literally across the street from PETCO park and a very short walk to the Gaslamp Quarter. Would rate the hotel higher but had to pay to get wifi and parking also costs $32 a day. Paying that much for a hotel room I expect complimentary wifi and parking.
