Avoid this motel. I travel a lot, a lot to Sacramento for work. I had to stay an extra night and my favorite hotel, The Delta King, was booked so I had to move - and figured I would try to save money, so booked a room at The Greens Hotel. I checked in around 9 pm on Wednesday night and the young man who checked me in was super, super nice - very helpful.
The room is pretty basic but the hardwood floor spruces it up and makes it feel large; there is no closet, just a few hangers on a crooked post attached to the wall.
Around 11 pm when I went to shower, I saw hair all over the floor and no washcloths. I called the front desk and the super nice guy must have clocked out because the salty guy I spoke with said, "Oh yeah, we're out of washcloths we have to do laundry. And the bathroom floor has been mopped, the hairs are probably just from the mop......." The dirty mop? So I said that this means the floor is not actually clean - there are hairs everywhere. But he just insisted on giving excuses, when all I asked him to do was to make a note for housekeeping -- but he wouldn't do it. So then we both got salty and he yelled at me and hung up.
Never. Again. At this place. I should have known when the Lyft driver dropped me off and said, "Um, are you safe here?". And I don't see any spots around here to go eat - I don't know what commenter saw "many amenities nearby."
