The rooms are updated, more attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the mirrors, walls, toilets, doors and such and the outside stairs..I realize they have a lot to clean, but these things matter A LOT to travelers...Other than these issues, everything was great..Thank you!

First. There was the smell.

I should probably not expect much from a motel out in the middle of nowhere BUT... after we had a check in that took waaaay too long for being the only ones in the lobby we entered a room that deemed of big bomb. I felt like I was breathing poison air all night. The bathroom smelled of urine. The sheets were not cleaned and the roll bed we asked for FOUR TIMES (online, callling ahead, at check-in, and then calling the desk an hour later) miraculously appeared with bedsheets (but no pillow). If we weren't so tired from traveling 10 hours we would have run screaming.

Definitely for the cheap guest

Pros: Really nothing. I'd never go back.
Cons: Everything!
Location: Close to King's Dominion amusement park. That's the reason we stayed there. Other than that, nothing around.
Manager was not friendly. Room smelled like a wet dog or cat stayed there. Pillows were airplane size and didn't have anything in them to hold your head up. Continental breakfast was cereal and coffee with powdered creamer. Shower barely got you wet but the drain in the tub was plugged up.

Good for what you pay.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, close to freeway
Cons: Poor breakfast
It was clean and in good repair. Just don't bother going for breakfast because you won't find much. If I'm ever in the area again, I would stay there.

Average, you get what you pay for

Pros: Close restaurants
Planned a weekend of fun for memorial weekend at kings dominion and this hotel was only 5 miles away and the price great. The staff was friendly and even willing to let us check in late because of how crazy traffic was. We stayed in a king bedroom and it did have a little "funky" smell to it. The shower was not cleaned very well, it still had someones hair. But i guess you get what you pay for. The location was really convenient as well; there were plenty of fast food and gas stations along the road it was on and it was located right off the highway. The only downside of it was that there was a cement median that didnt allow you to cut through so you had to go down like a mile in order to turn around to get to the other side.
