Last Minute Jamaican Honeymoon

We recently traveled to Jamaica for our honeymoon, and booked our trip last minute through Travelocity. I had never booked an entire trip through Travelocity before (flights round trip, hotel, shuttle), so I was a bit apprehensive. I have also never traveled to Jamaica, and we decided to book the Hilton on the reputation of the Hilton brand. I've stayed with various Hiltons across the US, and this one was up to par with my great Hilton experiences.
The staff was always SO friendly! Jamaican hospitality is very welcoming. Front desk staff is friendly, Servers were always so polite & friendly and would meet any and every request (shout out to Aneta and Cecilia!). As a young couple, we didn't necessarily want to shell out the big bucks to stay at Sandals (again, this was a last minute booking...about 9-10 days before our trip!), and I think this was a great value for what we paid.
The pools were all well kept/cleaned. Not a ton of beach front, but enough to enjoy the ocean/find seaglass & shells! Food is decent - we ate at the buffet, Fresh, almost every meal. We preferred the buffet over the sit-down restaurants on site. Luna Di Mare (the Italian restaurant on site) had great food, but limited choices, as did the other restaurants (the food was still good, though). Over on the east side of the property is a Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork hut - You absolutely have to eat there! Garth & Mark are wonderful and make the best jerk chicken. Great value.
