Excellent customer service

Overall experience was good, excellent customer service at poolside and beach... Food was excellent... The only negative thing about the stay waa wifi service was bad keeps kicking you off of wifi...

Fun for my Fabulous 50th Bday

The staff is so friendly, personable and helpful. From checking in with Jhanelle to making excursion plans with Natalee, to countless other wonderful staff in housekeeping, food services, the gift shop, and dinner reservation counter. We often came across hotel managers personally checking on guests (it seems Zephaniah is there everyday with a smile). The food services manager (whose name I sadly can't recall) learned that it was my birthday and took initiative to let the staff at Three Palms know ahead of time. Our ocean view room was not fancy (not a lot of decor); however, it was clean and the beds are sooooooo comfy, just what we needed after a day of excursions. There is a good variety of delicious food and several options for those who don't venture out to try the Jamaican cuisine. Don't forget that the nonmotorized water activiities are free the catamaran ride was wonderful, not just a 5 minute out into the water and back. So do venture past the jerk hut (after stopping to get some magnificent jerk chicken and pork of course) there are lots of relaxing, shaded areas underneath palm trees to just kick back and relax and have someone bring you a drink or two (they are quite generous with the alcohol). I would most definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Great hotel with a great location

My wife and I had an amazing time at the Hilton. We’re the types that loves to get to know a city or area where we stay, but the Hilton gave us everything we needed. We never left the resort! We highly recommend it if you’re staying in Montego.

Nice property with lots to do

Pros: Super friendly staff, after the first day, most of the wait staff remember you and remember what drinks you like.
Cons: They have free shuttles to the nearby shops, but not to the airport.
Location: You really don't have to leave the property, but if you want to explore, Dunn's River Falls was fun and amazing
Overall all the hotel and resort are great for the price. I went with my girlfriend for 8 days for a wedding. The wedding got cancelled for unknown reasons, but we decided to still take the rip for vacation. when i read that it was all inclusive, I was thinking "ok they are gonna give us water-down drinks, food is gonna be some cheap restaurant food", you know what you expect to get pretty much for free. Well to my surprise the restaurants in the property are really really good, other than one hostess that seemed a little rude when I was wearing sleeveless shirt to eat dinner at a restaurant right on the beach and next to one of the pools. But I get it, if those are the rules those are the rules, she was just blunt and seemed a little rude. Once i went to my room to put a t-shirt on and came back, the food was amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I am already starting to plan another vacation to Jamaica with more friends and family, and will stay at this resort.They were doing a few renovations on the property, so sometimes you would hear tools and signs with wet paint, but I get it, you can't shut down the resort to do improvements, you gotta do it during the weekdays when there aren't many people there.

Wonderful staff, great facility.

Pros: There was nothing that we did not like.
Cons: A crash course in table manners for the guests.
Location: Hilton Rose Hall, St James, Jamaica. Visit the Great House, a short, free trip. Also did the tour of the coffee plantation.
This was our first trip to Jamaica as well,as the first time staying at an all inclusive resort. I was a little hesitant as I am a vegetarian and was worried about the choices. There was no problem at all. Every place we ate had sufficient options for me as well as my meat eating spouse. The staff every where on the property were friendly and helpful. Our room was always very well cleaned as well as the common areas. The food service staff across the board were excellent, regardless if we were having breakfast in Fresh or dinner in Three Palms. The food was fresh, well prepared and plentiful. The managers all appeared to treat the staff with respect. We would like to give a shout out especially to the staff in the coffee bar; Subrina and the trainees who worked with her. They are all hardworking and an asset to the resort.

hope some one could answer phone

It was a nice hotel only problem is they will not answer phone I left my some expensive Jewlery in the room and tried call hoping someone would be honest and turn it in ....house keeping might be honest but someone has to answer phone to help....i have stayed at Hilton property’s a lot but I have no intention on ever staying with that group again ...customer service is very important but this group is terrible at answering phone and customer service....as far as I concerned me or my company will never stay with this group again...... I have about 2 weeks of free nights with Hilton group but they can have it or give it to someone else ......i understand u can’t control what is let in room. It a hotel and they should at least answer the phone??????????? Jimmie

So much fun!

We had an excellent family vacation here! The location is beautiful and the water park was fun for both us and our kids (ages 5 and 9)! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There was quite a bit of construction while we were there, which meant fewer rooms available and less crowded facilities, which was great..however there was a lot of noise during parts of the day. Food choices are good. Our kids went to the Kids Club a couple afternoons and enjoyed it. It runs from 9-5 and breaks for lunch. You can just send them for a couple hours at a time. We would definitely go back!

Great resort but female servers can be rude.

Upon arrival we has to wait 2 hours for a room. After a long flight that was not pleasant. We specifically booked a king bed room and for some reason they kept trying to give a 2 queens. People came after us and we're given rooms. It disn't even make a difference we were Hilton Honors silver members. There was no apology or and gesture to address this. The poor service in Fresh Buffet restaurant was most offensive. The rudeness of the majority of the female servers was highly unacceptable. We noticed they would be kind, pleasant and available to other guests whose parties were either all white or all black. Since we were a married couple black female and white male we noticed we were often ignored during our 9 day stay. We went 2 meals without beverage service during entire meal. Some meals bevarages would only be offered at the very end of meal. Many times we were seated in most obscure places even when better seating was available. These unpleasant encounters would only occur with female servers. There was only about 3 females who were always plesant and fair. It was so blatant on several occasions. Once we had been seated 20min earlier than all other guests yet other guests received bevarages before us and we were brought water well afterwards. When we asked the female server for drinks she refused yet brought drinks to an all black party next to us who were seated much later than we were. The male servers were always excellent. The female hostess was excellent.

Great accommodation steps away from majestic ocean

I did not know what to expect before I arrived and only relied on the resort brand name when I selected Hilton. However I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with what the resort had to offer. The location is great: well suited for parents or grandparents vacationing with children, for couples who want to enjoy and spend some time away, or group of friends wanting to have fun! The ocean view is majestic and pristine; a treat for nature's lovers! The food is also great with ample choices. I was particularly impressed with the variety and freshness of the tropical fruits available! I was pleased with the accommodation as well; for the rooms are clean and spacious; the eating areas and restaurants are easily accessible as well as the beach. The staff is well trained, very helpful, and will go out of their way to please you. Overall, I had a great time due to my positive experience at the resort as I have described above. Construction activities were taking place while I was there so you will be exposed to some noise during the day in the main buffet area they set outside for now but it is tempory and people can eat indoors or at other restaurants. I would make only one recommendation for improvements. I would suggest that they consider better insulating the rooms' interior wall to ensure that noises from adjacent room do not disturb others. Besides better noise insulated rooms for improvement, overall it is a great resort. I will definitely go back and recommend it!
