First of all I did not want to write anything but I worry about what could happen to someone if I don't . It was our weekend getaway 4days our last day we went to dine to Ginger their Asian restaurant we both ate the fried rice after that we both felt vey sick that night we spent it in our bathroom it was very bad next day was our flight we checked out and just wanted to get home my wife didn't want me to argue or say anything she just wanted to leave. It's been a week and still sick even though we went to our Doctor, it's a shame that they can be so careless someone could die one day, if they are not in good health me and my wife have suffered alot we've been to many hotels in Mexico and elsewhere and never gotten sick from food poisoning someone should be reprimanded for this its just such ashame the staff treated us good but someone is not overseeing the quality and sanitary safetines of the food l will not go back .

We are sorry to hear about his negative culinary experience in our hotel and would have truly appreciated knowing of these inconveniences first hand ; to provide you a detailed investigation but unfortunately the situation was not reported within the resort.
We would also like to inform you that Valentin Resorts works very strictly according to the latest HACCPP regulations in order to avoid any bacteria or virus within our resort. Also our hotel has a specific Health & Safety department which works in association with consultancy and an independent external company who is in charge of verifying that food has been handled, stored and cooked according to strict hygiene standards and health regulations , that our staff is well trained and finally that the food we offer is in perfect condition. Every visit has been successfully passed, for that reason the hotel has been recognized by the Check Safety First as a Cristal Regional Winner.
For this month of May 2016 , between staff and guests, almost 2000 people are eating every single day in our resort. In case of food problems we would have hundreds of sick people, fortunately and thanks to the support of the Cristal program once again, it is not the case.
It is very important to point out that in the spring the weather is very hot, humid, and of course in an All Inclusive property, where you have almost 10 restaurants, bars etc… You end up eating and drinking a lot more than usual.
On most occasions, health issues take place while vacationing due to rich/spicy food, combination of alcohol, lots of sun, warm weather, etc...And had nothing to do with the food.
We take our food hygiene extremely seriously. We can assure you that we haven’t had any reports of illness from other guests.
