The DoubleTree was very nice! The pool was excellent! The water was warm, but not too warm. I had a lovely morning swim.

This property only has one thing going for it -hot cookies. The property was closed for years. We thought that they were closed for updates, but no evidence of anything new since the 1970s. The front desk was friendly at first, but then told me that because we had booked through Travelocity, there were no perks. Since I am a Hilton Club member, and over 70, I was wishing for consideration for our room. The hospitality hostess made it sound like she was giving us a beautiful suite and it was the best. It was a split room, the Tv room was on the 2nd floor with a metal spiral staircase to the bedroom on the 3rd floor. There was a door on the 3rd floor, but the key was only to the 2nd floor. We were disappointed, to say the least, and will never stay there again. We love Hilton properties, but this is not up to their standards.
