WINTER FUN AT POV! | TONS OF FUN AMENITIES INCLUDED IN RATE | Bald Eagle’s Nest – Unit 1 is a lovely (PET FRIENDLY!) year-round cabin combining the charm of a Northwoods cottage with the conveniences of a home. The newly-renovated unit has a spacious living room/dining area, a fully-outfitted kitchen, and an updated roomy and bright full bathroom. The unit also has an electric fireplace stove – great for year-round ambience. A picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal and gas grills are right outside your door on the spacious deck.

The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds – very popular with kids! Bedrooms have comfortable firm memory-foam beds and upscale bedding. Fresh linens, blankets, pillows, towels, TP & paper towels, and bathroom/kitchen soaps are provided.

PETS: We do allow dogs in this unit between the end of August and mid-June. We have a $50/stay per dog fee; pets must be on a leash outside cabins at all times and crated when left alone inside the unit.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION – A NEMA 14-30 220 Amp Outlet is available upon request in advance to charge electric vehicles. It is a standard RV/EV 30 amp 220v outlet. You can reserve the station by messaging us with the request - we will confirm the reservation and availability before your stay.

A WINTER PLAYGROUND – ULTIMATE GETAWAY
A stay at POV Resort in the cold brings you to a winter wonderland. We offer great ice fishing on site - including ice fishing hut and gear package rentals. Also within minutes of the resort are groomed indoor and outdoor ice rinks, day and nighttime sledding hills and sleigh rides, and more hiking opportunities. Great ski hills and cross-country ski courses are nearby. Minocqua and Eagle River are also home to two of Northwood’s premiere winter parks, groomed winter wonderlands for outdoor activities. And within minutes of the resort is awesome shopping in downtown Eagle River! The area also hosts the World Snowmobile Championships, bringing 30.000 people to Eagle River as well as 2,000 competitors competing in the Adult Pond Hockey Championships.

POV Resort is also directly on the famous snowmobile trails of the Eagle River area - some of the best-groomed trails in the nation. The resort has access to two well-groomed snowmobile trails off of North Twin Lake - the Conover Sno Buddies Trails (80+ miles) and the Phelps Snowmobile Club Trails (40+ miles). Guests are encouraged to bring their own snowmobiles or have them delivered by a third-party rental service.
