Horrible place!

Pros: There was absolutely nothing I liked about this hotel.
Cons: It would be an improvement if they tore it down and built a new one.
BEWARE! Do NOT stay at this hotel. We checked in and stayed about 1 1/2 hour and checked out. They have no heating or air conditioning system other than a pipe going thru' all the rooms with either hot water in the pipe or cold water on the pipe. It was so freezing in the room you could hang meat with no problem. There is a thermostat on the wall, but it has a sign next to it explaining that you can't change the temperature and about the pipes running in every room. So every room in the whole place is the same temperature.

Comment from Hotel Management

Hello, Thank you for posting, i do want to take the time to apologize about the heating system. Unfortunately, the building is on the older side, so it still has the same cooling/heating system. The property bases the temperature in the room on the weather conditions. During the summer is on AC and during the winter is on HEAT, with the in between days, they do leave it on neutral and we do have portable heaters and or fans at the front desk free of charge to our guests.

The hotel is ok. We had issues with a lot of noise on our first night there and that meant a very difficult night of sleep. Breakfast was ok and filled the stomach but would have been nice to have a few more choices. When we left for the day, we assumed that our room was going to receive attention from housekeeping. Unfortunately we did not! It was very disappointing that we did not have any clean towels and overflowing trash cans, especially after a long day. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is wonderful tho.

Nicely appointed for Super 8 Motel.

Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Cons: They'd have to install sound deadening on the walls.
Location: Location was good. Plenty of nearby shops. Restaurants were close by.
Nice accommodations. Clean room and a friendly staff. The bed was firm but comfortable. Convenient location for shopping and nearby restaurants. A nice pool in the center of the property. Plenty of parking on the sides and back. Considering this was the Street Vibrations weekend, our rate was very reasonable. The only caveat is that the walls don't deaden sound between rooms well at all. I wore ear plugs and slept fine. Overall I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Close to the convention center.

Older facility, just a basic motel. Close to events center. Did not see the continental breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms comfortable.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
I got really low room rates for this hotel, so I wasn't expecting much. I was here during the cold months, so I don't know what the pool is like. The hotel is located within walking distance of dining and shopping. There is a Thai place in the hotel. I didn't eat there, but there were lots of people eating there that didn't seem to be guests of the hotel. The rooms were clean-- it was hard to keep the cleaning service out because they kept ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign. The rest of the staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast isn't much (cereal, muffins, coffee, tea, juice). Overall I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel needs a update.

Pros: Free breakfast
I found the hotel to be older and somewhat run down. It really needs a facelift! It was probably a very nice hotel years ago, but it really shows it's age. There are so many better hotels to stay in Reno. My stay was during Hot August Nights and there was very few rooms avalible, so I was stuck at this hotel.
