Sketchy and unsafe

Pros: The owners were very nice and accommodating.
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms, pictures that reflect what the hotel actually looks like
Location: Very UNSAFE neighborhood. Drug addicts and thefts.
After viewing this hotel online I was very pleased. It looked liked a nice hotel. When arriving I found the exact opposite. my roommate and I are in our twenties and were very scared the entire night. We talked to a worker at the gas station next door and she told us that this was a very unsafe neighborhood and someone's car was just stolen. Also that the hotel attracts criminals and drug addicts. I spent the entire night freaked out that my car was going to be stolen or that something was going to happen to us. We were given the wrong room and it was very unclean. Random hairs everywhere and dirty sheets. I would not recommend that anyone book this hotel. It is very unsafe.

A convenient but mediocre stay

There were families enjoying the pool on the first floor so we requested a quiet/non-smoking room on the second floor. The room was quiet, the beds nice and firm. Unfortunately we were in the center of a corridor flanked by smokers on one end and pets on the other. It might have been more pleasant on the first floor, noise or not. I prefer hot showers. I was unable to get the warm-only shower temperature addressed.

Repeat Guest who was disappointed with this visit

Pros: The front desk clerk was the bright spot of our stay. She went the extra mile to be pleasant and helpful.
Cons: We hope the mgmt decides to have an honest look at the condition of the property. We know we will be traveling to this city in the future.
We were disappointed with our stay here the other day. We have stayed at this property about a half dozen times between 2007 and 2010. We always found the property to be clean and in good repair. So we did not hesitate to select this property. Things have changed, and not for the better. Maintenance and cleanliness were not up to standard. The recent paint job in our room was 2nd rate: paint on the tiles, tub and floor. There was painters tape still on the woodwork. Paint was smeared on the ceiling and walls. The carpet was dirty, and the room and linens smelled stale. The AC did not handle the room temp and would occasionally fail to come on. We could not open the window, and it was missing the bug screen. The TV set up was very confusing; we could not get local news or movie channels. The shower and sink drains were broken and disconnected. The shower was shabby and thickly stained with hard water buildup. The toilet paper holder was not fastened to the wall. The public spaces and landscaping were cluttered shabby and unattractive. Guest entrance locks were broken loose and did not work properly.

It was a pleasant surprise considering the price.

Pros: It was clean and quiet.
Location: No clue.
It was just fine. We did hear the freeway. There was food nearby. We had no problems, unlike some other roadside places.

Baymont Inns and Suites ---- was sweeeeet.

I enjoyed my stay --  room was very clean --  coffee pot and coffee's and teas where plentiful.  All I had to do was ask for more when I ran out.  POOL  was perfect.  Breakfast was good could have had more yogurt only request.

Staff very friendly and courteous

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: smoking and non-smoking rooms close to each other
Enjoyed my stay, fairly clean, although the staff missed a dirty diaper in cleaning. My only complaint is that I left my pillw. There was no problem finding it but the staff said they only sent things FedEx, which meant it ultimately cost me over $100. Even though I asked them for "snail-mail," they ignored my request--it was an expense I was not expecting. Also, if you have an allergy to cigarette smoke, think twice because smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms are fairly close, as well as ash-bins right outside the doors.

Very Nice Hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Upon checking in I they had my room ready... and dicovered that I had requested a smoking room, in error... they had no problem changing me to a non-smoking room. They placed me near the other members of my party, from a last minute request. The rooms are not huge, but have plenty of room to get around. They are kept very clean and tidy by the service staff. I will be using this hotel again, in the future.

Major letdown

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: terrible room condition
I was on a roll with finding good rates and good hotels but this one broke that streak. On the plus side, the indoor pool was great, if a bit over chlorinated. Be careful if you have sensitive skin like me. The rooms are sadly sadly lacking. They are small, with old and rickety furniture. Our sheets had slashed in them from what looked like a knife or box cutter. All night long whenever someone in our hall opened or closed their door our door would slam in its lock. Although it is in walking distance to the outlet stores and around the corner from the Walmart, it is not a place I can recommend in good conscience.

Not as expected

Wi Fi internet connection was weak & slow, told desk but no change, was not usable as a business connection. Non smoking rooms, and we could smell people smoking from both of the rooms. Reasonably clean but dirty ironing board hanging in bath room. Will not stay again.
