Nice area

Pros: the location was close to Ilford town center
Cons: Fix broken things
Location: mostly the only thing to do is shop
I stayed at Cranbrook Hotel and you get less what you pay for. It seamed everything in the room was broken right down to the shower head it kept unscrewing and falling off. I stayed in the building on the next block over. and the walls were thin and could hear doors slamming in the evening but at night it was quiet. the neighborhood felt safe and was pleasant. It was within a quick walk to the train station. you are in zone 4 for the oyster card which works great and the trains came every 10 min. They are building a new building behind the hotel so they might get better. I don't think I would stay there again with a little more planning I think I could of got a hotel closer and nicer. The breakfast was not too good either no fresh fruits only canned.
