Overpriced Motel 6

1. There is no privacy and absolutely no peace, quiet. There are 3 floors and if you get the first or second floor, you'll be able to hear everything on the floor above. So if your neighbor above you decides to take a midnight bath like mine did, it's going to sound like you have an aquarium in your room. You can hear quiet conversations from above and next door, also from well across the halls. 2. There is only one elevator for the entire hotel. That one elevator takes everybody up/down- good luck if it's a busy weekend. 3. The double-queen rooms are bare and minimal. Yes there are beds, but they don't have comforters on them. They have sheets and a top "sheet" that's undetectably thicker. There are only a few lamps which are very dim (no overhead lights). There is a television, but it is positioned right in the "walkway" of your room where you can't watch it from bed or from the small loveseat near the entrance. there aren't any accessible outlets, and none of them lamps have outlets on them to use, so be prepared to pull their furniture out and unplug something if you don't want your phone to die (oh, and then to most likely forget your charger in a hurry because it's out of sight). 4. The lobby is very tiny with only a few tables. Although the hotel does offer "free breakfast," it is buffet-style (so be prepared to wait in line) and there won't be room for you to eat at a table. 5. There is NO SECURE PARKING. I repeat: NONE. There is no valet. There is no security.

We were very welcomed at this hotel.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, warm cookies
We were welcomed back warmly. One of the staff members made a plate of chocolate chip cookies for just our family and offered to take them up to our room. The room was well laid-out with two queen beds and a sofabed. It was nice that there was a separate area for the sofabed. The hotel was very quiet. The pool and jacuzzi were well-maintained. The breakfast was very good and had several choices. The price was reasonable especially since it was around Thanksgiving. We would definitely come back on our next trip to Ridgecrest. Thank you!

Clean and Friendly

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
We stayed here en route to the Petroglyphs on the Naval Base nearby. The staff (front desk and breakfast) were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, as far as quality and variety. The room was spacious and clean. Nothing negative to report!
